“Solid hotel for short visit with family”

While the hotel may appear a bit outdated, rooms are very spacious, and clean. The sofa conveniently turned into a bunk bed, so the kids could sleep in the same room, but still apart. We had a shower and a bath! Dinner was fine, but the bar / accommodation is limited for a family of 4. Only small tables. Breakfast offered lots of choice in buffetstyle. And enough space for all of us to eat. The spa facilities were top, large swimmingpool, great for the kids. In short: although this seems more a business hotel it s a perfect stop with (small) children.

This is a wel appointed hotel and checking in was friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious. My room had two chairs and a view that was not too pretty of the arena; mo colleague's room had a larger bathroom with a bidet, but no chairs, but with a great view of the park. So try to specify what is important for you. The bathroom is luxurious with new fittings and matching sink, floor, and shower all of the same marble. There is plenty of room to put one's toiletries. The shower controls are electronic and impressive. There is a desk and chair, a safe, and plenty of closet (wardrobe) space. There are no USB charging ports. However, the internet access is poor. It is slow, intermittent, and sporadic. There is a wired Ethernet port which is not much better than the Wi-Fi. If the internet was better, I would give this 5 stars. I did not use the restaurant nor the bar.

“Nice hotel in Bremen”

Sumptuous lobby. Pleasant and clean room with a super shower. Across the road from the city’s major park so ideal for a picnic lunch. Did not try their breakfast at 20 Euro each. Easy access to the main train station. Not far from the old town which is excellent for a days outing.

The positives: - very friendly staff (big plus point) - spacious room - onsite parking (against fee) is available -bus and tram lines to get to the city center, train station and other parts of the city are closeby - decent size pool and sauna, open from 8am to 10pm (with 1 hour closure for cleaning during the day), at no additional cost - various restaurants at walking distance - good quality breakfast buffet with sufficient choice The negatives: - design and decor of the hotel are dated -service seemed uncoordinated at times; eg had booked a family room but got a room with only 1 double bed (this was corrected instantly after we informed reception) - bathroom was very shiny but not handy (fancy but short and uncomfortable bath tub, no possibilty to manually select/finetune the water pressure in the shower) - only 1 changing room and lockers that could not be locked in the wellness area - no bathrobe and slippers in the room despite the concept that use of wellness area is included - wifi connection in the hotel does not work on older devices; no alternative connection was available (big minus point) All in all acceptable for a short stay but not impressive.
