“Hidden gem”

Really nice hotel and lovely staff. Bit noisy at night due to the locals making YouTube videos?! Close to train. Was very hot so air con would’ve been nice but spacious room and massive bathroom. Towels are also tiny! I am 5’3” and struggled to cover myself😂

Yes, guests at Burns Art Cologne have highlighted that: Stayed 17/08 in a 'junior suite with terrace', at a cost of £173 for the night. The decor was very nice and a bit different than standard boring hotel rooms, but a little bit scratched/marked in some places. The room was a bit more spacious than average but not huge. Nice terrace balconies that you could see quite a distance, would have made more use of them if it was warmer outside! Wifi was good, parking available outside on the street. Free coffee available at reception in the morning. Very convenient for access to the koelnmesse convention centre, 5 minute walk. My only negatives were that there is no kettle or coffee machine in the room itself which is annoying, and also that the shower doesn't drain properly and has left a big stain on the floor from all the previous showers over time. I do recommend this hotel and will stay again, but the price I paid was a bit expensive for the room I received - possibly because I only booked a week before staying.
