“Nice location and good environment”
The hotel is in a good location, has a nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner. For dinner the prices are not so good, but it's important to have that option a few steps from your room. “Nicer than I expected ”
Even though the price was hefty, it was a pleasant surprise. I expected a charmless business hotel and that's what it looks like from the outside. “Better than average but not very good”
The limits of the TA review system means this hotel is either average or very good and its neither! Comfortable and clean with friendly staff. A small but adequate bar and a restaurant serving above average cuisine. Excellent location for the old town. Would definitely stay here again.

“Functional”
Not much to say. The hotel was functional, and the rooms clean. However, the bed was quite uncomfortable - way too soft. The springs in the mattress had simply lost their spring. As Wetzlar is one boring town, I suppose it shouldn't come as a surprise that the hotel's surroundings were also boring.
