If you ever saw the Grand Budapest hotel, this place reminds me of that movie. I’m guessing that this hotel’s original construction is around the 1950 or 60’s and then every few years they kept adding segments to make the site larger. The staff at this place is small but everyone is hardworking and happy that you came to their hotel to stay. Although the room I was assigned was 303, we stayed on the ground floor which is towards the back of the hotel. The hotel has 3 floors and an elevator option. The room itself is very spacious. They are currently in the processing of restoring the furniture and furnishing inside the rooms. There is a small fridge and stocked mini bar in the room. There is also WiFi available through out the facility. I opted to include breakfast and I think you should too. I think it was worth it. Available for breakfast at the self service buffet are: breads and cold meat selection, various salads including: potato, carrot, red cabbage, tomato and cucumbers, hot options are: scrambled eggs, sausage, meat ball and hard boiled eggs. They had an automatic touches pancake making machine available as well as a speciality coffee machine and juice machine available: oranges, apple and multi fruit. Activities in the hotel are: swimming pool, sauna, fitness room & tennis court. They also have serval conference rooms available for use. I didn’t use the fitness center and the bowling alley seems to be a bar and pool table area now. In general, missing from the rooms are: in room safe, air conditioning Across the street is a nearby cafe and a short walking distance away (50 meters) is a netto supermarket. There is plenty of parking available and they also have bicycle parking and a repair stand for bicycles available. While making up my room was skipped some days, I could always get replacement towels from the pool to use in my room. The restaurant Merlin inside would be open for dinner (but I didn’t try to eat there). Menu is available outside. Remember if you found this review helpful to leave a thumbs up. “Army reunion”

A large sprawling hotel on the outskirts of the town. Generally well-kept and maintained although there is some work in progress, albeit not intrusive. A large sprawling hotel on the outskirts of the town. Generally well-kept and maintained although there is some work in progress, albeit not intrusive. The staff were helpful and friendly apart from one lady who was a little bit "I'm in charge, do as I say". Probably not the best thing to say to a bunch of ex-soldiers!! The rooms were spacious which was a blessing because there was no A/C. Really nice breakfast with a good selection of meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and even some smoked salmon. Would definitely stay again.
