“Very nice spa hotel at seaside”
Although there for a family visit we did not use the amenities as available. However we could see it was looking well. The hotel was fully booked but did not feel full or extremely busy. Nice bar and good breakfast. Just 300 Meter to a great beach.

“Nice Hotel however not in Rostock”
Hotel is in a quite location and is nearer the sea than first thought. However beach is shingle and sea can be hard to get out due to drag back. For nicer beach you need to go to Warnemunde. The Ostsee Hotel had a clinical feel to it - a bit like entering a sanitorium - and to my eye the building had a touch of East German/Soviet styling. We´ve been to the Baltic Coast around Dierhagen numerous times and were quite surprised to find such a big hotel. It is not so high but rather long. Rooms are big enough, comfortable and clean. “Very "corporate" & professional”
We had dinner at the Ostseehotel and were impressed by the "professionalism" of the staff and the "smart" appearance of the hotel - but it totally seemed to lack any "personality". Not the sort of hotel we would choose to stay at. Sorry
