The hotel is situated conveniently close to both the main restaurant area as well as the beach. From outside it appears to be a relatively old house with a kind of charming appearance. Inside you will find that the bar/restaurant also serves as reception and the owners domaine. The owner is a very helpful gentleman and besides helping you to your room he will also arrange breakfast for you. We choose a suite since we were three traveling together, the room was not extremely big but large enough to accommodate us. The old house design included lots of room towards the ceiling and large windows to the street, KMD of a gazebo like feel. Parking was available at the back at an extra cost of 7 EUR per day. So why only a 3 star rating? Well here are the "disappointments" despite the low season we paid more than 100 EUR for the room and for that price you expect the hotel to offer more than a few German only tv stations on small tv screen, a heating system that doesn't turn off during the night, resulting in a very cold room. Curtains that expands all the way to ensure a little privacy especially when you have room with large windows facing the street in street level. Last but definitely not least we choose the hotel because it offered WiFi, all three of us could see the wifi on our devices but it was impossible to connect to it and use it. The owner told us to go to the first floor (very cold) tv lounge, and sure enough it worked up there, but not in our room where we needed it I will not be back.
