It was all perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and the service is very attentive to the costumer request. The spa is awesome. The location is very central and in 2 minutes walk you are right on the beach. My only remark is that the tv is not a smart-tv, therefore only standard tv is available. I also haven’t seen international channels.

“Lovely stay”

I had a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel. My room was larger than I had expected and almost felt like a studio apartment with its sofa and small balcony. The room was bright, airy and inviting and was a much welcomed relief following my hot 4 hour train journey. The hotel itself is very centrally located with the main shopping strip a block away and the beach also just a block. The bio-breakfast was tasty with plenty of options from cheese, meats, fruit, cereals and eggs boiled or made to order. Staff were friendly and welcoming and ready to give assistance or provide information if needed. I travelled with a pet and found we were well catered to with a blanket, bowl and treats waiting for us on arrival to the room. I was given peace of mind knowing pets were welcome as there was a sign available for the door to indicate that there was a "watchdog" present for those short trips out without the pup. The only downside for me was that there was no wi-fi in the rooms though it was not a problem to go to the pubic area as use the wi-fi available there. The weather was fabulous whilst I was there so I unfortunately did not have an opportunity to experience the pool and wellness area however when I popped my head in it certainly looked inviting. I'm already thinking of my next possible trip back!

We had a one night stay as a "Smartbox" gift from friends. The hotel is located across the street from an Edeka supermarket. A sand beach is only a two minute walk away. The breakfast was by far the best I have every had at a hotel. Excellent assortment of fresh breads, spreads, and fruits. Very good juices and vegan desserts as well. You can participate in free classes daily. My husband and I were the only ones for nordic walking and we had a nice stroll up the beach with the instructor. Our 3rd floor room was spacious and had a comfortable places for sitting under the sun roof and on the balcony. The lighting was romantic and the shower was large with good fixtures. Although we were on the street side, it was very quiet. However, at about 4 in the morning some birds began cheeping so loudly I thought it was someone's cellphone alarm. I could hear gulls as well, but they were a normal volume, which leads me to suspect some birds were nesting directly above our window. The spa is very well appointed and is open until 10PM. The pool is the perfect temperature and has no chlorine smell. The Finnish sauna is very large and has a lovely lemongrass fragrance. The bio sauna has lights that change colors but it a little on the small side. Complementary mineral water is available in the spa area, and you are provided a nice robe and slippers. It was quiet and relaxing.

The hotel itself was above average. Breakfast was full and had many healthy choices. Room was clean, well apportioned and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a small library and a comfortable reading area which was well decorated. The additional amenities such as massages and orthopaedic treatment were professional but expensive. I believe you can and should do the latter at home with a trusted local person. The location of this hotel, just one street from the beach, is the real attraction and there are paths along the beach which are appealing. I suppose that was the only real attraction for me there. Even though we went in the off season, the cost was steep for what I felt we received. There was no single thing that put me off a 4 star rating and many others may have a more positive feeling, but I asked myself a simple question: would I return? My answer was not unequivocal so three stars.
