“Great location, friendly staff and good breakfast”
We had two nights at the Hotel Am Marschiertor and it was a fabulous location within easy walking access of the old city. We were very happy with our stay here. It was just 3 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof right beside the old city gate Marshiertor. We got a nice welcome at reception. “Modest hotel & surprisingly good breakfast”
Am Marschiertor Hotel opened in 1971 but the building is older. The family managed hotel is located at 200m from Aachen railway station, and offers 55 rooms over 4 floors. “Bad beds.”
This is an affordable nice hotel in the center of Aachen. The breakfast was nice. The bed was bad. It was too small and the mattress was very bad. I couldn’t get a good night sleep. It was also very noisy.
