“Good hotel in a lovely setting”
Just had a brief two night stay at this hotel. Booked a two storey suite - nice views of the lake and plenty of space. Upstairs had a bedroom, small living area and a bathroom/toilet with a huge bath! Downstairs had a the main lounge area, a single bedroom and a walk-in shower room with toilet. Al… more

Breakfast is fine, diner too, but no menu only buffet. Staff is very friendly. The bar opens after 8 pm, but on Sunday it was closed. So … more

The view from the room facing the lake is stunning but the balconies are tiny and very close to one another, … more

“Good PQ ratio”
The hotel is nicely located near the Diemel reservoir (artificial lake) at the Diemeltalsperre (at the northern part of the Sauerland. A hilly and forested region, mainly known for its hiking possibilities). The buildings are relatively old (approx. 1988), but clean and well maintained. The interio… more
