Perfectly clean and functional hotel well located for pleasant walks to nearby points of interest. There is easy access to public transportation (which we used from the airport), many great cafes/restaurants, bakery and groceries nearby. The staff at the desk (limited hours) was very helpful and friendly. Key pick up and entry was super easy. We could walk to river cruise embarkation in less than 20 minutes. Only downside was the noise of the streetcar and traffic when windows were open. During the warm season, you will need to open the windows as there isn't AC. The hotel itself is very quiet, good showers and comfy beds. We could book a room for each of us for 2 nights, to deal with jet lag after flying in from SFO, since the price was about the same or less than a single room at a "higher grade" hotel. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked very good.

Recently stayed at Hotel Doria for 3 nights. From start to finish Fabio and the staff were very helpful and gave lots of information when asked. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were more than adequate, and the bathroom area, in our room, was large. Breakfast was very nice with friendly staff. Lots of choice and lovely coffee. The location was great and just one stop to the old town area, Alstadt. Some nice bars and shops near the hotel. Trams do run directly outside the hotel so it can be noisy (ear plugs provided), and our room was very room. If I return to Dusseldorf I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Doria again Thanks

Back again at the Doria during an annual exhibition, along with a number of other familiar guests spotted at breakfast. The hotel's easy to find, with 3rd party parking around 5 minutes walk, which is quite secure. The rooms arebsduc6, but very clean, warm, and an all important hot shower. I was in the second building, located 30 seconds walk down the road, so needed to carry shirts to the main building to use the communal iron, that's the only negative. Breakfast is simple buffet but enough options to set you up for a morning. Lots of bars and restaurants in short walking distance.

“When on Business, Doria is the one!”

We know this little hotel already and when on business, the location is excellent with tram, bus and Metro a step away. They do provide parking if necessary. Small rooms but very clean. We know this little hotel already and when on business, the location is excellent with tram, bus and Metro a step away. They do provide parking if necessary. Small rooms but very clean. We love their breakfast--everyday a different variety and very tasty.Staff very helpful--they know everything!!! Free WiFi. Quite a variety of restaurants in the vicinity.Will definitely go there again.
