“Lovely little hotel, incredible service”
We stayed there for a couple of nights. Breakfast spread quite generous, the rooms are good and the power of the shower is great! Little quirky place with excellent service, the staff couldn't be more helpful and kind. If convenient for your visit, I will truly recommend it. A €11 ride to Messen.

“Convenient location but noisy”
We came for Euro 2024. Hotel is basic but comfortable. Be aware that it is next to busy road and the noise insulation is poor (at least in our room). We were woken by sirens every morning. “Art hotel / Essen, great place.”
Stayed here for 8 days during the euro championship with a group of friends. Location is great for the station and the city centre. Rooms were large,clean and relatively quiet even though we were on a main road. I have to mention David on reception, really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much… more
