Location: it's located in the middle of the red district, about 10 minutes walk from the metro station. However, inside the noise is not an issue. The room was small and basic, but clean and modern. We arrived pretty late and my husband had to go check in at the sister hotel a few steps away, just take it into consideration as well as the fact that there are only stairs. For the price it's ok, but personally I would prefer another area, it's not too comfortable to walk in the area either in the night or the morning when there are still remnants of the night.

“Hotel ideal nearby @ Tina Turner Musical place”

We searched around in Hamburg for a hotel to stay overnight after our visit to the new Tina Turner Musical. This place is ideal for that and the Musical place is just across the road! Secondly there is a park house for your car in between for 15 Euro’s per 24 hours. The room is ok for two persons. The bath a bid small but all what you need is there. Highly recommend for a stay from 1 – 3 days in Hamburg. It’s a small hotel. The window is leading to the street. Thanks to the window; when its close; it absorbs the noise quite good.

First time at this hotel and I've got to say I was very happy with it. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Nice and warm also. When I realised I had booked it and it was on Reeebhbahn street I was slightly concerned, about the safety, the noise levels etc. I'm a single female traveller, but there was no need. It's opposite the main theatres and yes, turning right from the hotelcdoor does take you down to the brothels and sex shops but it was not noisy at night in the room. Staff were friendly and the location is really good, 3 min walk from the U St.Pauli so easy to get about the city and if you walk down one of the side streets bot only do you see the wild side of the sex market, you are at the harbour front within minutes. So ideal for boat trips or to see the fish market. No lift at the hotel so be mindful if you can't do stairs, 3 floors in total, but I was very happy with my room on the 3rd floor and would stay there again.

“Clean, fairly new facilities, not a bad budget choice”

Stayed here Nov 18 for 2 nights. The room is fine, very clean. Double bed is comfy and there is room either side to move around. The bathroom is smallish but perfectly usuable. The shower is good, hot and powerful. The bathroom comes with shower gels and handwash. It also has a hairdryer. There is no towel rail or anywhere to dry off wet towels but the hotel changed them daily so wasn't an issue (if you dont mind the environmental damage!). Back to the room, there's a single storage area for clothes with a decent number of wooden hangers. The room has free wifi, a tv with plenty of channels (a handful in English) and complimentary water. Our room had a window which was cracked open daily by the staff. Our room also had a thermostatic controlled radiator and whilst it didnt feel like it kicked out much heat it was actually fine for keeping our room warm (when it was 2degC outside). Staff man the reception 27/7 and are very helpful. It's a decent budget hotel. It is situated in the red light district tho. But if you want to eat and have a couple of cocktails etc in Hamburg you'll end up here anyway! I walked up and down the Reeperbahn street witb my hubby and felt safe. You will see homeless, beggers and open drug taking but at no point was I ever bothered by any individual. Couples (and in the daytime) families walk down the street so whilst a little sleezy it doesn't feel unsafe so long as you're reasonably sensible.
