I liked this place: the center of Kiel, nice shopping street, close to everything you need. It was not a hotel room, but a real apartment, new, fully equipped and nice decorated. The hotel is totally automated. There is no reception, you just get the code and feel like at home. There is a wending machine on the second floor if you got hunger in the night. But the apartment has a quite good kitchen. Our flat had windows from the both sides of the building: south and north. Was very bright, which is important to create a good mood during daytime. As far as it was a really brand new apartment, some small things did not work well, like a slightly jammed door, difficult water temperature control. But nevertheless it is a great place. It is worth to stay there for a long time, like weeks or even months. Many years ago I lived in Kiel for several weeks and I do regret I didn’t know about anything like this hotel. I would recommend this place for the ones delegated to Kiel for a long period. Yes, it could be pricy, but if company pays it is just a perfect solution. And one more, it has an incredibly great door locks with a numpad. Hello, where I can purchase it?

Everything about the hotel is quite nice. Check-in was easy. The premises are clean. Elevator works fine. Everything about the hotel is quite nice. Check-in was easy. The premises are clean. Elevator works fine. My room on the fifth floor was well appointed with a modern bathroom and nice, fluffy cotton sheets, pillows and comforter. The views were average. Drinks were available round the clock and the location is excellent. Very quiet except the occasional chatter of other guests. Room had a nice kitchenette. The only drawback: The comedian next door liked to torture me in the shower. First he froze me out, then he tried to scald me. In the summer keep the temperature at lukewarm. The perp can do little to harm at that temperature! A great value for the money! I would stay here again.

Nice and comfortable apartments in the pedestrian road of the city centre, nice contact to the owners by phone. There is no staff available and the entrance code is communicated on the first day of booking by e-mail or SMS. The access system of our appartment was a bit tricky, but the appartment itself was nice, clean and comfortable. If you are searching something nice in the city centre being independent this is for you - there are plenty of bakeries and coffee shops around to get breakfast. If you prefer to have personal contact and service go for a hotel.

Pros Good size apartment New and very clean Comfortable bed Kitchen facilities Huge shower Hairdryer provided Perfect location Good value for money Cons Very noisy from the street, even though we were on the 5th floor and windows are double-glazed. Woken by people in the street throughout the night, each night we were there. No microwave! No toaster but used the oven grill instead No oven tray and no oven dish, so can only cook food that will stay on the wire rack No iron and ironing board Would be good to have a lock on the inside of the door for security - don't know who else has the PIN number for the front door and apartment door. Would be good to have a safe in the apartment to store valuables Note that the lift only goes to 4th floor and there are two flights of stairs up to the 5th floor
