I found the Steigenberger quite good. A few steps from (what is left of) Kiel’s oldtown and quite close to Kiel line, a mile long strolling area along the waterfront of Kieler Förde. “Great for cruises”
We stayed for the second time for a night ahead of a "Mein Schiff" cruise (which starts at the cruise center just across the street from the hotel). Location is excellent also to reach the city center of Kiel with shopping and food options. Would definitely come again for our next cruise from Kiel.… more

“Really nice hotel with super beds, but the parking was too expensive”
It was a really nice and pleasant stay for us and our dog. Very animal friendly hotel. The beds were really good and the room had all it needed. Maybe they should consider to remove the bath and make a shower instead. It would be fine considering the hotels concern about sustainability an care for… more

“Ok hotel”
Quite ok hotel, but a bit old decor in the room. Locked parking garage. Practical when you're on the go, and just need a place to sleep and the baggage is safe in the car. Nice with your own slippers and dressing gown. Our hotel room faced the street so there was traffic noise.
