“Lovely trip”
Loved our stay - iconic hotel with gorgeous views across the bay. Definitely go for a balcony if you can. All staff we met were great and really helpful, especially James and Mr Ghazi. Very (very!) steep hill up to the entrance, but the views from the terrace and our room made it all worthwhile.… more

“great short stay”
only stayed 3 nights but had a wonderful stay. staff very helpful [ big shout to James, very friendly and helpful big asset to the hotel ] bed was comfortable and had a wonderful balcony. would return.

“I short break in our favourite hotel on the Rock”
Always a very warm welcome by the staff at the Rock Hotel, especially Abdella Ghazi , who has been in charge of the bar/restaurant for an amazing 52 years!!! The takes he must be able to tell, but he is much too discrete. I’m sure we will be back soon.

“OK hotel in a town where good hotels are a premium”
Pretty soulless and old fashioned. Location is close to city centre but up a fairly steep hill - the clue is in the name!
