A very cozy hotel with scenic view from the room, situated in the centre of Russbach town, relatively close to many natural attractions like Krimml waterfalls, Mooserboden reservoir, Sigmund-Thun-Klamm, Grossglockner High Alpine Road, Stubnerkogel Suspension Bridge, Five Fingers View Point and just 10 min. drive to Hallstatt. Also very tasty food in the restaurant - you must visit it for dinner. The hotel has a large territory with children's playground, a small "beach" with sun beds, a big pool, and even a mountain river! In the evening you can relax in a traditional or infrared sauna and jacuzzi. The room has a large studio with fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with very comfortable bed and a spacious terrace with a view on the mountains.Very friendly and helpful staff! We loved the stay very much!

The hotel is located in a quet and small village between the mountain. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with spacious balcony. The apartment is clean and large. Living room with sofa bed, large flat screen TV, well equipped kitchen, one large master bedroom with ensuite shower, small second bedroom with private shower. Balcony is large enough to accomodate the whole family. The view is breathtaking. The resort has a very good restaurant, however the diner prices are really high. You can except EUR 100-120 for a family of 4. Since this is an european apartment hotel, they only change bed linens ans clean the room weekly. They charge EUR 50 cleaning fee at the end of the visit. Staff is excellent. Helpful and nice. Breakfast has excellent and huge selection. Every popular tourist destinations (Hallstatt, Dachstein, Wolfgangsee...) are within 30 minutes drive. The only negative thing I can say is, the hotel has less parking spots than rooms.

We arranged a weekend to Austria to sort out arrangements for our daughters wedding there next year. We chose this hotel as it was a good price, as we were paying for all 4 of us, and not too far from where we needed to be. Yes a little strange reception area and the man that greeted us wasn't very smiley, but he showed us to our room which was a rather unusual layout. We went into what was like an apartment, there was a kitchen and sofa area and then 3 rooms off here (all lockable) We had two of the rooms booked and the 3rd room was occupied by someone that we didn't know. I guess if you were to book this for a big family it would be perfect. But anyway, it was clean neat and had everything we wanted. We weren't there to spend time in our room, that was only for sleeping in. Breakfast was fine and we also ate there one night which again was good. I cant remember the waiters name but he was very helpful when I asked if I could have another pillow, he very Kindly took me to the very clean laundry room where all the sheets etc were very neatly placed on shelving. He let me chose my pillow. Overall I wouldn't be put off staying here again, I just guess its busier in the winter months although saying that there were quite a few people staying there when we were. July 13/15th.

The hotel was very nice and modern. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with great views from the enormous balcony. Food in both the breakfast buffet as well as the dinner was very good. The hotel was very nice and modern. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with great views from the enormous balcony. Food in both the breakfast buffet as well as the dinner was very good. But then we get to the things that pulled down the ratings hard; the staff. The person that sat behind the front desk was the least charming individual I’ve met in a long time. While sort of helpful, it often felt like we were bothering him with our questions. Same goes for the staff in the restaurant. Some of the staff didn’t even respond to our morning greetings. There were of course exceptions, with one of the servers being incredibly charming and friendly. Another boring thing was that the restaurant used table reservation for each room, so our room always got the same table for both breakfast and dinner for all of the three nights we stayed there. Very boring and while me might’ve wanted to sit out on the patio, that would not work since all the tables were pre-reserved each day. The breakfast buffet, while very nice in its selection and the quality of the food, was not replenished often enough by the staff. Same for the coffee. One pot per table and once my coffee loving wife had only hade two cups, we couldn’t find a single soul to give us a refill. In other hotels, like the excellent Scandic hotels where staff continuously cleared used plates, here no such thing happened. Overall, we weren’t super excited about the stay, despite many positive aspects. We will not return to this hotel.
