This was our first visit to Lux & Easy and it was a fantastic experience throughout. Location is excellent to get around Athens with a Metro and Tram stop a mere 5 minute walk from the accommodation and only 3 stops to Syntagma, 2 to Acropolis - location is a real hit. Amenities around are a few local mini markets, a few coffee outlets, bakeries etc - I’d recommend looking at google earth for a street view of your surroundings as if you’re explorers and what to venture out its great. If you want everything on your doorstep then I’d recommend elsewhere. The accommodation is superb. We were in room 61 which was set over two floors and had a hot tub on the balcony. As a family of four there was ample space, two bathrooms and a huge comfy bed for us to sleep on and the upstairs bedroom balcony had great views over the city. The rooms are in a two by two format over 6 floors so i believe there is only 12 rooms here - and this reflected in the quiet nature of the property. Would highly recommend!

“Far from Luxurious”

Booked for the 1st time in 2023 but didn't personally get to enjoy it because my flight got changed due to weather in Europe. Booked again for 3 nights to experience after a long international flight. Details are important and this accommodation in our view lacks in details for what they charge per night. Kitchen suggestions: #1 - 1 little spoon for coffee? Certainly you can afford more than one utensil. #2- Put a dish cloth in the kitchen Huge kitchen and bar seating area, but no table with chairs unless you sit outside on the deck. Problems with the TV- Message that it wasn't connected and no possibility to enjoy the TV in the bedroom or living room for that matter. Bathroom: The glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom emits light into the bedroom if using the toilet during the night. For me this was an extreme pain because even if you turned on a light in the kitchen, that light still Illuminates through the glass into the bedroom. The bathroom basin counter needs refinishing as does the tracking on the floor by the glass wall. Cheap one-ply toilet paper is tacky. Hooks should be installed near the shower for the bathrobes and convenience when getting out of the shower. Bedroom: The light on the ceiling in the bedroom flashes off and on through the night..I believe it's the fire alarm system, it's a nuisance in the bedroom during the night. The balcony off the bedroom wasn't enjoyable because there's nothing to see but old dirty buildings. The only positive was the electric blackout screen in both the bedroom and living room. The balcony off the kitchen is nice and large with an outdoor jacuzzi which was nice however not extremely private facing other buildings. Suggestion: A partition would compliment this offering for privacy. Improvements: The outdoor furniture offering shouldn't look cheap. In my view there should be some elegance or luxury since this is what they advertise. The biggest complaint is the food service, took over an hour to arrive, order received wasn't fulfilled as advertised and for 32€ it was extremely overpriced for what was received which wasn't much. Total rip off. The name of the establishment is Lux&Easy, I take it for luxurious which it is far from in my view for the 130€/night we paid. Overall feeling is that even off season Athens is overpriced in many regards. "Restaurant prices, accommodation, admission into historic sites specifically. " Would recommend travellers visiting Athens book at hotels with a reputation for delivering service and value for the price being charged.

The good: clean, comfortable, great water pressure etc The bad: Absolutely nowhere near anything you’d want to do as a tourist. Very much a meh neighborhood; not dangerous but still a bit run down. And for a supposedly furnished apartment, many of the super basic things you’d expect from one are nowhere to be found. No laundry, no dishwasher, not a coffee maker, dish soap, tin foil or plastic wrap; in fact, there’s barely any dishes to begin with.
