Have just returned after spending a very relaxed week at this hotel. The location is ideal for restaurants, the beach and ideal for walking as the area is very flat. The hotel itself is very well run and rooms are also cleaned very well. Breakfast is buffet style and there was always a good selection to choose from. We found all staff to be both helpful and friendly. Being a smaller hotel we found that there was a good mix of guests and had some good times around the bar in the evening and with our neighbour. (Jayne, it was a pleasure to meet you). Was also good to experience some of the Greek culture that still exists on the island Would 100% recommend

We had a great 11 day stay at the end of August / beginning of September. We understand that the hotel rooms were renovated prior to the start of the 2025 season. Our room was simple with a good size and well lit bathroom with a proper shower cubicle with rain shower. The water pressure could be a little temperamental at times but we always managed and there was always plenty of hot water. Bedding and towels were changed regularly and the room was kept lovely and clean. We booked a swim-up room and were really happy with it. The room we were allocated (109) had patio doors leading out to a small terrace with a table and two chairs and then down one step to a further terrace with 2 sun loungers. The pool was cleaned early every morning and, being south facing, got the sun all day. Our original intention was to go to the beach each morning and come back to use the pool late afternoon but we loved our swim-up room so much that we spent every morning there, walked into the village for lunch and then came back to our room again mid afternoon. A decent breakfast was available by the main pool with a selection of hot and cold dishes. We went to the weekly barbecue and the range, quality and quantity of the food was excellent. The gardens around the hotel are well cared for with lots of colourful plants and a small allotment. It’s a very peaceful environment and it was so quiet at night time. It’s less than a ten minute easy stroll (all on the flat) to the beach and village where there’s a nice selection of restaurants for lunch and dinner. Thank you to Bill and his staff.

Our second time to Skala Kallonis but the first to Pasiphae and it was everything we expected from reading previous reviews. We were allocated a ground floor room but advised on check in that if we would prefer an upper floor room one would become available in a few days if we wished to move. We were happy with our room so opted to stay there. Spotlessly clean and modern room with loads of storage space, very comfy bed and pillows, fridge and aircon included (which we needed as very hot whilst we were there). A huge bathroom adapted for people with mobility issues. Beautiful clean pool and very well kept gardens and comfy sunbeds. Good choice of food at breakfast including bacon, eggs etc which were always hot and constantly replenished. We did sometimes struggle to get a table in the shade at breakfast but the hotel was full and we probably came to breakfast at the most popular time. We had two separate bathroom issues which we reported to Bill at breakfast time and both were fixed immediately. Bill has a fantastic team working there but we have to have a special mention to the three girls working the breakfast, lunchtime food and the pool bar - Marianthi, Susanna and Nicky (apologies if incorrectly spelled) they were all amazing, always happy and smiling and very friendly. Would we return to Pasiphae? Definitely.

Just returned home from a week in this very authentic greek hotel, which is situated a few minutes walk away from a selection of restaurants and shops and a pretty beach. The hotel is clean and the staff are marvellous. They work very hard to make your holiday enjoyable. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. This is an ideal place for a break if you like a tranquil setting, lovely walks, quiet nights. Whilst I was there, I'd say the majority of the guests were mature/retired and I'm not sure it's suitable for children, unless you are willing to hire a car to venture further afield. Would also like to mention V and D, for their company. Sorry I missed you this morning!
