3rd visit in 12 months should tell you all you need to know. Great location, clean and comfortable rooms and hosted by people who can’t do enough for you. Stayed 10 nights this time in early season and as per previous stays, we were welcomed like we were the only people staying. Nothing was too much trouble… Great breakfast service, hot coffee and good selection of food to set you up for the day. Bar and restaurant were also spot on, ate a few lunchtimes and evenings and could not fault the set menu or other items… You’re missing out if you don’t try this place !!

“Great birding option”

Great hotel for birding the island in spring , lovely food infact we didn’t go out for fourteen nights , rooms basic but perfectly adequate, definitely go again or recommend

Its difficult to praise this hotel more that has been said in previous reviews, Thekla and her team made us feel as though we were actually staying with her personally which is a very special quality and made us feel so welcome. The hotel is a small family run 2* with a great pool and great home cooking. We stayed Half board for a week through Jet2 and the evening meal was a set menu which was advertised in the morning. Breakfast is basic with cereals, bread, yoghurt, sweet bakes and some hot dishes. There is a Coffee machine and Juice's available. The daytime snack menu was good, and cheap compared to other Greek destinations we have visited. The pizza's were fab and would easily feed 2!. Hotel buildings are well maintained but quite basic and functional, which is all part of the charm. We loved out stay there and will be booking a longer return visit. With the great beach 5 minutes away on foot ,and the local village 15 mins away on foot, whats not to love about this place!. PS - There are a lot of cats about the place, so if you don't like cats then maybe look elsewhere.

I am writing a review of this hotel even though we did not stay here, we were at a hotel down the road. We visited the Pela one afternoon and were welcomed by the owner, we had a drink and spoke to her about using the restaurant at the premises. She told us we were very welcome to use the facilities at the Pela. We ate and had drinks after for the last 6 nights of our 14 night holiday. We can not praise the owner enough for the welcome and the service that we received, we were treated just the same as the hotel guests. Food was excellent with a good choice and every evening there was a daily special, as already said nothing was to much trouble. I would like to point out that if it had not been for the hospitality of the owner our holiday would not have been half as good.
