The hotel is 5 min away by car & around 30 min by walk to Pythagoria town centre and has a beach in front with sunbeds available free for the guests. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. The rooms are big enough with everything you need in it, e.g., lovely balcony, refrigerator, coffee machine, safe box, etc. They clean the room on a daily basis, and the hotel generally is very clean and tidy. There's an outside parking place in the hotel, if it's full then there're other parking places nearby. There is no need to say the parking places are free of charge. In the facility there is a market so you can buy your needs. We had a nice stay at the hotel. Thanks to the management.

“Lovely but lacks some essentials”

We stayed in Room 508 (a superior SC studio). Lovely light and spacious studio with a fabulous bathroom, including an excellent hairdryer. Our kitchenette had a filter coffee machine but, sadly, no kettle. Also had a very small fridge, which held just 3 large bottles of water, and no ice box – totally inadequate for self-catering. I do, however, believe that some studios have a better fridge (with freezer compartment). Lovely dinner service and full complement of glasses and small cups. Strangely, apart from the obligatory bathroom bin, we just had a large open basket – on the balcony – for rubbish (and food waste). The flies loved it, especially as it was only emptied once during our week’s stay. We had a great balcony on the 1st floor, near the small pool, with views of both the sea and the airport, which we loved. There was no rack to dry towels or swimwear so we rigged up some string along the balcony rails – like the old days. Ground floor rooms only had hedges (no rails) so had to festoon their ‘washing’ on the hedges. Our bedding and towels were changed frequently and the room always smelt lovely and clean on return. There was a small open wardrobe but no other clothes storage area – the only drawers were the tiny ones in the bedside table. We lived out of our cases and packing cubes, which isn’t ideal. Air Con was free; optional safe was €2 per day; room tax – a steep €10 per day! We were B&B basis. Breakfast options were varied but tedious. Flies were a big problem around the food. We used our voucher to gain access to the 20% discounted evening buffet. Good selection of food, and makes a change from the brisk and boring 40 minute walk into Pythagorio (€9 taxi fare). Sadly, no bars or tavernas around this area of Potokaki for in the evenings. There is a great mini market on site, which opens 8am-10pm daily.

“No surprises (bad or good)”

In the island of Samos, a nice , size wise in between a small boutique hotel to a large on. Located not right on the beach, you cross a small road to reach the beach. The pool is not very big either- but big enough for the kids to have fun. The beach is overall allright. Standard Samos beach. The hotel does not give free sunbed or umbrella (-) Located just beside the airport, though we were not affected by the noise at all. The rooms are OK. Clean and cleaned every day thoroughly. The good thing is, the rooms have utilities to cook too. One thing to note, maybe is that, you cannot find snacks nearby-either buy from the small market in the hotel (which is very very convenient I should say) or walk to somewhere in the vicinity. The Hotel's restaurant serves a full open buffet that you need to pay (if you dont stay all inclusive). In overall, the experience is not bad. Not a fancy and unforgettable place - gives you just enough.

The rooms are okay (had 2 different ones) but the beds are pretty hard. The balcanies of the rooms were really nice and spacious tho. Allthough the hotel is located in the immediate vacinitt of the airport leading to conciderable noise from the planes coming and going. On the other hand seeing planes take off from so close was both a new and a positive experience. The beach near the hotel is very nice, with exeptiobally clean and clear water. Worth noting that the beach has small rocks (not sand) but it turns into sand after walking about 7 meters into the sea. The food wasn’t the best. The dinner often had overcooked vegetables soaked in oil, overcooked meats which are weren’t changing from day to day. The breakfast had sugary, almost soda like juices, mostly canned fruit and somehow the scrambled eggs tasted like dish water. One exeptional positive was the coffee, which was full and fresh even to my finnish standards. The staff was partly polite and nice, partly a bit unprofessional and rude. Regardless they did their very best to accommodate our wishes, which we truly appreciated! A special thanks to one Ukrainian cleaning lady who’s friendliness and hospitality made us feel truly welcomed to the hotel.
