Such a beautiful place, the views are amazing from everywhere at this hotel, the hotel is immaculate everywhere, the rooms are all air conditioned, the private beach is stunning, the food was amazing, plenty of sunbeds to go around, The nearest town isn’t really walking distance, and even if you did want to walk the 7-8 min taxi ride it’s not safe it’s main roads that aren’t lit up at night. Taxi was £8 euros each way. There’s no shop onsite which would have been nice to buy forgotten items or snorkel, bits and pieces. No tea and coffee in the rooms which I think for 5* would be nice. Drink prices at the hotel feel slightly expensive. Food at all the restaurants onsite was amazing. No entertainment really, they had a singer at dinner 2 nights out of the 7. The hotel is extremely quiet in the evening with most of the guests going into the local town.

We just had a week at this hotel. Very quiet as adult only . Located outside main town and requires car or taxi for evening/ day activities . There is no onsite shop so taxi ride to buy any necessities. Staff were very helpful and attentive . We were given a room upgrade which turned out to be a low level room with limited sea view ( view of a tree and restaurant entrance) , cramped furniture, poor airconditioning ( requested maintanance check but nothing happened) , uninspiring patio area with low quality furniture . Aircon had to be switched off at night as so noisy and remained between 27 and 29 degrees when on. Opening times of facilities ( pool, restaurants. Bars) very confusing and more seemed to be more closed than open. We ate 2x at the simplicity restaurant - good view, service and lovely food BUT no atmosphere at all - decided to join most other guests and spend evenings off- site in the town ( €8 taxi each way) First time ever I have stayed in a resort and not used the pool at all - stuck to the beach which was nice butvalso had broken wooden pallet beds and stained matresses . 2 reasons for this .... 1. Pool only open from 10Am to 6PM - so no chance of an early morning pre- breakfast or late avening sunset swims in the pool . 2. From as early as 7am guests are allowed to put out towels around the pool and block beds with shade ( limited in number). Forget trying to get a bed near 10 am when pool opens ! Staff quoted 90min limit on leaving towels but never saw this enforced . Lifeguard just shrugged when asked about this twice. Shame as pool is large with great views - but again desolate at sunset due to bizzare hours and not very inviting area to spend time in. They could make it so much nicer if was open! Overall a pleasant stay but numerous irritations that you dont expect in a supposed 5* resort .

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Although the views are beautiful the standard of the hotel is not. The rooms are ok but the beds have enormous wooden frames and getting in/out left bruises on our legs. There are no tea/coffee stations in room as you would expect for a hotel of this standard.… more

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Although the views are beautiful the standard of the hotel is not. The rooms are ok but the beds have enormous wooden frames and getting in/out left bruises on our legs. There are no tea/coffee stations in room as you would expect for a hotel of this standard. Lights came on and off automatically in bathroom so you had to wave your arms around like a lunatic to get them to come back on. Breakfast had good variety but cooked options were always lukewarm if you were lucky otherwise cold! Hotel is on very steep hill which is not in description and if you’re elderly this can be a problem. Lots of stairs of varying heights and widths. Beach is rocky going into water and quite slippery therefore lots of people went around pool which then put pressure on to get a sunbed which became a hassle. Cocktails only available in restaurant when one member of staff was working otherwise not available. They do provide buggy service if you phone which is good but would rather known from beginning how steep it was and therefore would have booked somewhere else. TUI take no responsibility for inadequate description in their advertising. Staff were very nice and helpful and Samos town is lovely with great restaurants and bars but unfortunately hotel did not live up to our expectations.
