Came here on a relatively short notice deal in May 2026 - what a lovely family run hotel this is. Lovely modern rooms with a fridge & kettle. Small balcony but ok for what we needed. TV was able to connect to You Tube if you wanted something to watch. My only complaint was the shower, it was either freezing cold or boiling hot (most nights ran it for 10 minutes to get to hot). On our first night we felt a bit chilly so got out the light duvet to put over us both, the next day the cleaner had automatically made the bed with 2 duvets - never even had to ask. Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel. Lots of cats about which we don't mind - typical for Greece. Would return to this hotel again without a doubt.

“Fantastic stay”

Lovely modernised hotel better than a lot I have stayed in. Staff lovely. Food served for breakfast very good and food in restaurant. My only gripe was the balcony which was a bit small but we didn’t really use it. Short stroll to the beach which has some good tavernas. Lots more as you stroll alon… more

Lovely modernised hotel better than a lot I have stayed in. Staff lovely. Food served for breakfast very good and food in restaurant. My only gripe was the balcony which was a bit small but we didn’t really use it. Short stroll to the beach which has some good tavernas. Lots more as you stroll along to the old town. Molyvos is stunning. The sunsets amazing. Had a fabulous time in Lesbos.

“Great Choice, Lovely Hotel”

First time visitors to Lesvos and we doubt whether we could have made a better choice. The Jet2 transfer airport coach drops you off on the main road at the bottom of the lane to the hotel, just outside the Natalia hotel, you just need to walk up the lane with your suitcases which takes about five minutes. On arriving at the reception, the hotel takes your passports for them to write down their numbers, but they are given back to you straight away. You are asked to supply them with your contact phone number and email address. They give you the room key and hotel information sheets (meal and pool times, Wi-Fi codes, hotel tax, and their car hire costings, if required). Note that the hotel tax is €5 per night and to be paid in cash only, upon check out. We were allocated room 115, which is on the ground floor at the back behind the kitchen area and pool bar which meant it was shaded to the entrance door, but enjoyed the sun in the morning and afternoon. The room was quite large with separate sleeping accommodation to the living/kitchen area. The bedroom had two comfortable beds with two pillows on each, spare blankets were available in the wardrobe. The wardrobe housed the safe which was free and operated electronically with your own self-selected code. At the bottom of the wardrobe there was also two large drawers. We found as usual, that there is never enough coat-hangers, but we always bring some of our own and then leave them on departure. The room also had two bedside cabinets, dressing table with mirror (including a hairdryer) and an occasional table. There was plenty of room for your belongings, also enough power sockets for all your devices too. The bathroom was quite small, typical greek with shower with a railed curtain. Hot water but sometimes dropped cold but only for a few moments. Bedding and sheets were changed on a regular basis, and the towels were nice and soft. The kitchen/living area was one step up and a glass door entrance. This room had a pull-out sofa bed, coffee table, additional easy chair, and dining table with three dining chairs. The kitchen area had a fridge and cupboard with sink above and a two ring electric cooking rings. The fridge had good capacity, and the ice box was nice and large with more than enough space to freeze our four one litre bottles and ice cube trays, as we like cold and frozen drinks to take to the beach. The cupboard housed various basic crockery and cutlery. Also, had wine glasses, which you don't always get. There was also a kettle and coffee machine. You were also supplied with a tea-towel, but no washing up liquid or scourer. Basic, but enough for our needs, as we eat out every evening. The door and window to the outside terrace had roller shutters and voile curtains. As the room was in a shaded location, we found that there was no need for additional air conditioning despite it being in the thirties outside. The terrace had a sunny position through the day and in the evening was shaded. There were three washing lines from the terrace railings to a down pipe, and plenty of pegs. There were also a table and four chairs. You do get a few local cats that pass and try to enter your room, but this was not an issue for us. The room is operated with a key fob to turn on the electricity. The room number is highlighted in green when you are not there and red when the key is in its slot, making it easy for the maid to know when to service your room. Great idea, first time we have encountered that in Greece. The room was not one of the newly refurbished rooms, but was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was a good temperature, although obviously got warmer as the sun got hotter. We usually secured a sunbed of our choice when returning from the beach and the pool area was not overcrowded. The sunbeds have nice, thick and comfortable pads. The pool bar serves drinks, not our usual Mythos but Mamos was equally as good at €9 for two. There was also Alfa and Heineken. We believe Alfa was on draft, but that is not our preferred Greek beer. There is also food available during the day, we never ate at the hotel, or had breakfast as we don’t really eat much during daytimes. They also sell 6 packs of the 1.5 litres of water for €4, if you don’t want to transport these back from the supermarket, where the nearest one sells it for €2.50, this is about a 10–15-minute walk, but doable. Most of the restaurants and the bars are on the main beach road, which is a 15 - 25 minute walk to the centre where the pier is located. The final stretch of the road to the centre of Petra is cobbled stones, so probably best to leave those heels at home. The owners and all the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. We enjoyed our 3 weeks stay at this hotel and the village of Petra and would not hesitate staying here again. If you do visit, please look after the large German Shepherd that lives at the end of the road. He looks fierce but is a big softy, we enjoyed taking him some treats after dinner and his water bowl was continually upside down, so we did worry he wasn’t cared for. By the end of our three weeks stay we are sure he recognised our sound and smell, running up to the fence when we passed for a head rub, and of course to see what we had brought him. We also saw some people feeding the beautiful black horse right next to the hotel – if you have a spare carrot, you know where to go! Visited 14 Jun – 5 Jul 2026

“Petra was beautiful, hotel was OK, wouldnt return.”

This hotel is OK. Whilst the outside looks very modern and inviting the rooms are in serious need of an update. This hotel is OK. Whilst the outside looks very modern and inviting the rooms are in serious need of an update. The tax was 5 euros a night, with additional charge of 7 euros a night for air conditioning. We stayed in one of the apartments which was basic, fridge, kettle, small electric hob and a coffee machine. The bathroom had a locked toilet roll holder which was broken and kept falling apart. Small very old bathroom. There were no smoke detectors at all in the rooms which did worry me greatly with all the wildfires currently occurring. The staff were not particularly helpful or friendly, there was no how was your stay? or help with our bags which would have been appreciated as we arrived late and night and were staying on the top floor. Cleaning of the rooms was very hit and miss, some days great others not so much, once we came back with an unpleasant odour in the room. The hotel isnt well sign posted from the main road, we had to get up Google maps and walk down a lane for 10 minutes with our bags in the dark trying to find it. Petra was beautiful, but I wouldnt return to this hotel.
