Galaxa Mansion

“Loved it.”

We had a lovely three day stay here. The room was spacious with a very comfie bed. The bathroom was a little quirky but sufficient. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location was very walkable. We loved it and would not hesitate to recommend it or to stay here again.

Really charming place to spend time in Galaxidi. We went with our three kids, and had two rooms across the hall from each other. The rooms are beautiful, filled with light and charm. They both had strong A/C, and a small but very nice stand-alone shower. My wife and I had a balcony with a view of the harbour which was spectacular especially at night. The breakfast is truly something special. Make sure you go with an empty stomach, and when the bring the first course out - remember it is only the first course!! We thought it was the whole thing, were already full, and then out came tray after tray of delicious yogurts, crepes, bruschetta, and more.

“Did not like the shower at all”

We stayed in Cleo. Beautiful view of water. Bright room. Wash basin in room. Towels were very nice quality. Air conditioning and wifi worked well. We stayed in Cleo. Beautiful view of water. Bright room. Wash basin in room. Towels were very nice quality. Air conditioning and wifi worked well. Parking was just adjacent with 3 spaces on a dirt space, more down the street on a lot that was grassy and weeds. Safe enough never worried about the car. Our room was in the first floor. Old house, very quaint. Reception was in probably the original living room at a writing desk. Not always staffed. Bed was comfortable with firm pillows. Queen size bed. Coffee, small refrigerator. Not very cold, I was surprised when we checked in and breakfast was not included. It was €15 per person per day. Well worth it on the beautiful terrace. No menu they just bring out lots of delicious food. Fresh fruit. Fresh squeezed orange juice, Greek yumminess, crêpe, bread basket, sweet tower. Most disappointing was our bathroom. The shower was the bathroom. I’m funny about not wanting to walk on the shower floor with shoes but that’s what we did all day. The bathroom floor was wet so it tracked water into the bedroom. I like dressing in bathroom and drying off in there but everything gets wet so we hung our towel on a wooded screen outside the bathroom. Would not return to that room. We did not like that at all! Very quiet place. Food was 10-15 minutes walk down. Certainly not strenuous but up slightly hill. The locals were nice and mostly friendly. It’s a very small village that is mostly people there that are visiting Delphi it seems.
