Based on the offers we received, we decided on this hotel, despite the fact that it only has 3 stars. So far we have vacationed on many Greek islands and seen different accommodations. When you arrive at the hotel, you don't know what to expect in the first moment, because the reception is decorated in the old Greek style, and in the second part there is a buffet. Everything becomes more pleasant when you are very kindly greeted by the owner of the hotel Mr. Minas. After a friendly greeting, he helps us carry our luggage to our room, upon entering the room all doubts about the choice of hotel immediately disappear. The room is bright, very clean, everything smells fresh, the bedding is snow white the mattress are new and the view from the terrace is divine. We lived in room 207. During our stay very nice Mrs. Vasiliki provided fresh towels every day and bed linen changed several times a week. We asked her for extra pillows and got them right away. Breakfast is served between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., there are baked, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, dry salami, ham, cheese, various fruits, dry pastries, two types of bread, salty cheese, cream cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, cereals, coffee, tea, milk, juices, various jams, honey, cream spreads. In general, more than enough choices. Some people are never satisfied, sometimes I wonder what they eat at home. Mrs. Elsa, the manager, is a super nice Dutch woman who has been living in Karpathos for many years, and we enjoyed daily chats with her at breakfast, where she gives you advice on where to go to a good restaurant or the beach or whatever interests you, She is in one word a wonderful lady. The accommodation is oldfashioned, but you can't feel it anywhere, because everyone who works here takes care of the surroundings, cleanliness and orderliness. Everything is freshly painted, the greenery around the hotel is tidy. The location of the hotel is excellent, as you have the option of choosing between two beaches, sand or small pebbles, and on both of them you can rent sunbeds with umbrella. The owners of our hotel have on the pebble beach below their Votsalakia restaurant their sun beds and umbrellas. We rented a car next to hotel at Trust renta cars, Minolis the owner gave ua a great practicly new car for a good price. Next to thehotel ther is also a small market where you can buy almost everything. Anyway, our experience is wonderful, with a heavy heart we say goodbye for this summer and can't wait to return to Amoopi on Karpathos. We will miss their hospitality.
