An absolutely wonderful holiday again! Special thanks to Despina, Marieva and Pelagia for making our trip so perfect. Weather and the hotel were 10/10 and we will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at the hotel, together with my wife Alberta and our daughter Iness, and once again we had a wonderful experience. What truly made our stay special was the staff. A very special thank you to Despina Kalivia, Palagia, the other Despina :-) and Marieva. They were all incredibly kind, attentive, professional, and welcoming.. Thank you to the whole team at Kassandra Palace seaside resort, we look forward to coming back next year! ❤️

“Wheelchair friendly resort”

Travelled as a group of four adults one of whom is in her own wheelchair. Her mobility is very limited so we needed a resort where she could be wheeled to most places, with just short distances of walking. Kassandra Palace is a very flat resort and the pathways smooth for pushing a wheelchair. The paths lead straight to the beach with a few steps down to the coarse sand with plentiful sunbeds and umbrellas. The sea was close but with a steep gravelly drop into the sea so our family member with limited mobility was unable to enter sea and sat on the edge. The pool area is mainly flat and the pool a comfortable depth to stand but also swim. However, the pool snack bar, and sunbeds behind, were only accessible by steps up and then down. It was a shame a simple ramp was not installed for accessibility. The hotel had our rooms thoughtfully located right next to the lifts in the main block and this was a central location for the buffet restaurant and the main resort bars. The lifts are narrow but just sufficient for a basic wheelchair and additional person. The rooms were quiet and spacious enough for the wheelchair. The aircon was very good and bottled water was supplied during housekeeping daily. We had an issue with one room-the air con developed a big leak-but it was efficiently rectified and I was impressed when one of the hospitality team asked if I was happy when we arrived for dinner later that night. We liked the variety of seating areas in the evenings and used the games tables for a chess or card game. Food was buffet style (we did not use the paid for à la carte restaurants) and there was a good variety of hot ( excellent made to order omelettes-the chef took great care when preparing these) and cold foods, salad bar, bread area, fruit and dessert. At times the area could feel overwhelming busy and I appreciate it was the height of summer however it was better to choose a later time for dinner or early for breakfast to avoid the mad rush. Drinks had to be ordered for dinner but this was very hit or miss. My first night our drinks, once someone was found to take my order, arrived when we were finishing our dinner so we decided not to bother from then on bringing the bottled water down from our rooms instead. I had noticed other guests doing this so I followed their example, waiting to have a drink after dinner in a bar. I feel this is a missed opportunity for the hotel and would suggest a review of current practises. The hospitality team are truly lovely and happy people. There was always a friendly morning greeting, bar staff were good and the cheerful housekeeping team members were always around. I must also commend the high standards of the ground and maintenance team. Not a chipped tile or step in sight and the beautiful plants and trees give the resort a tranquil feel. The attention to detail in this area is excellent. Also, I loved the hammocks, so relaxing and I liked that there were ‘beanbag’ sunbeds, day beds and regular loungers.

The Cassandra Palace is a great resort considering the beach as well as the property itself. Not exactly 5* when it comes to the main restaurant and some of the rooms. In respect of half board it might be an idea to add the other restaurants as on option for one or two dinners by default. Getting 3… more

The Cassandra Palace is a great resort considering the beach as well as the property itself. Not exactly 5* when it comes to the main restaurant and some of the rooms. In respect of half board it might be an idea to add the other restaurants as on option for one or two dinners by default. Getting 30% off in the alla card restaurants is already a good start. Understood that some of the rooms are planned to be renovated. There a better and clearer description is needed. May also add curtains to the bathtub as an example.
