“"Wonderful small hotel"”

The rooms were clean and spacious..good size fridge..We did not cook but there is a small hob and kettle ideal for a morning or afternoon coffee. Only 5 mins walk to beach and commercial centre.in a quiet area. Spotless clean rooms and pool...great for a quiet getaway. Pool gets a bit noisy but hot… more

The rooms were clean and spacious..good size fridge..We did not cook but there is a small hob and kettle ideal for a morning or afternoon coffee. Only 5 mins walk to beach and commercial centre.in a quiet area. Spotless clean rooms and pool...great for a quiet getaway. Pool gets a bit noisy but hotel staff are quite strict about the noise which I think is good when parents leave their kids unattended. I would definitely go back again... THANK YOU ALONI.

“Lovely hotel ... but some residents!”

This is a really nice small hotel towards the back of Pefkohori with lovely views of the hills and a nice pool and gardens. It is well located with just short walks to the beach and the traditional Old Square. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is very relaxing and peaceful during the day but some of the residents are noisy at night, chatting on their balconies in the early hours, moving furniture and banging doors. There are also noisy dogs in the neighbourhood.

The staff were reasonably welcoming. We were in room 13. This hotel is well placed as far as the beaches, bus stops, restaurants, supermarkets and shops for which I would give it 4 out of 5, however! It is really a studio? Two large single beds pushed together and a third smaller bed. The bedding didn't fit and we found holes in all of the bedding that was supplied. The plus was that the sheets and towels were changed every 3/4 days. There is a blanket each 3 in total. 3 out of 5. There is a balcony overlooking the swimming pool partially obscured by a flowering tree which overhung the balcony with some very sharp spikes - suggest it needs cutting back. 3 out of 5. This was supposed to be a hotel offering self-catering facilities in this they have failed. The self-catering was a lift up cupboard about 6 feet in length comprising of two rusting hot plates which surprisingly did work, an extractor fan and a sink. No preparation area, no real cupboard space for food items, a kettle, 2 pans and a frying pan. There is a small fridge (again this was old and partly damaged) with a box freezer underneath and the cupboard beside had a swing out bin. For this I'd give 2 out of 5. Cleanliness was average to poor so 2 1/2 out of 5. There is a flat screen TV offering a good selection of channels with many English ones. The pool area is very well looked after and there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols. There is the larger pool and a children's small pool. 4 out of 5. Security boxes and air con cost extra but the WiFi is free and quite good during the day but can't cope at night. There is an upstairs bar area overlooking the pool which is nice. The prices were quite expensive and not the best value the coffee, frappe and tea were pretty poor though the bar staff was very pleasant. Would I recommend it - yes but not for self-catering.
