We stayed for 7 nights twenty five years after our honeymoon visit to here. We had a Golf suite which had two rooms and was really good and spacious with the sun in mornings until about 12noon. Air con worked fine. Cleaned thoroughly every day and a new bottle of water in fridge. Eleni in customer relations was very good before our stay and during, sorted flowers, cake and wine in room for the wife and any questions at resort were sorted with a smile. The beach is shingle but very good sun beds in the VIP area for people staying in suites (above junior suites). the other part has a great beach bar with good vibes and music. The drink service to sunbeds was very good and a special mention to Vaggelis as he was super friendly and always spoke from the first day we met him. Large beers are 8erous, glass of wine 8/9euros. No sunbed wars as more than enough even with hotel full. Never went down until after 10am and had no problems. Lovely bar/restaurant that dies Shushi part of resort by the marina, bottled beers only but the barman will put both in freezer for you to get cold, very nice place to sit and chill with a beer or two. The marina is lovely with some great super yachts to view. The bar at the end of marina (not part of Resort but went three afternoons) had large Peroni in glass from freezer for only 6 euros and restaurant to it's right (not part of resort either) was great food, the owner (Chris) made a vegetarian dish fresh for the wife to suit here allergies and I had a Ribeye steak and chips that was very good and only 13euros, all very friendly. Ferry to Neo Marmaras was 4euros each worth a day visit. enjoyed the singers ( young lady from Bulgaria was great and also the lad from Italy), violinist (from Croatia, sorry forgot the names) and saxophone player, everything ends at 11pm though. We also visited the casino 4 times as open until 4am and enjoyed and the staff again in there were great and friendly and good measures on the drinks. The only down side to this hotel is the food, nothing is hot (apart from toast in morning), breakfast everything comes out cold, in evenings some odd meals were warm at best. Nothing wrong with quality or choice just need to be kept hotter. Tried on site specialty restaurant as you get 18euros of cost each but it was not much better (Italian themed by marina). Also on booking they said could just fit us in at 7pm (nice time for us) but on the evening the restaurant was less than 25% full. Overall glad we went back and it has certainly upgraded from 25years ago and we would go again at right price. Sorry one star missing due to the food, but thankyou for a great week. Just returned from 1 week all inclusive trip to Porto Carras as 2x adults and 11yr old child. The beach location is stunning, sea was warm and the ferry over to Neo Marmaras is great for €4each, couple of shops and restraunts over there, pools are great but abit chilly however its needed in the heat, your not allowed to even jump in the pool or the whistles blown! The swim up bars great & it was never a problem getting a sunbed. The marina around the corner is stunning. Food was ok but not very warm, hotel itself was very clean apart from the smell in the hallways to the room, rooms were cleaned daily but only 1x bottle of water left in fridge tea etc not topped up. The 2nd night there was a white party on the beach which we thought would be fantastic, on arrival to said party we were charged for our drinks €50 for 2 rounds of 3 drinks! We were all inclusive so feel the drinks should have been included as we had been drinking the same drinks from this bar in the day for free. We then went to sit around the poolside on the evening to be told if we sit and drink there that we had to also pay for our drinks! The only place we could drink on an evening as part of the all inclusive was reflections bar which closes at 11pm. We skipped breakfast most days as it was like a cattle market with nowhere to sit & pushing & shoving for food however lunch and dinner were much better. There's no entertainment atall on the evening and we ended up being in bed for 10pm everynight. The all inclusive package is very limited and only certain drinks included, we were confused what we could have that was included and wasn't. If however you pay extra for a suite you get your own restraunt & own part of the beach! If you want to eat drink (same drinks) and relax it's the perfect location for a break however my son got bored very quickly. We usually hire a car when abroad however glad we didnt this time as theres nowhere to go within reasonable distance- you also have to get a coach from the airport for 1hour then change onto a minibus and travel another hour transfer which was so long, we wouldn't return such a shame because the beach location is stunning.

“Hotel for Familles. Not couples.”

On Arrival we were given our hotel room which we booked as Marina view..we got pool view which was ok as sea view too….walking down corridor to our room it looked like it hadn’t been vacuum for a month!! On Arrival we were given our hotel room which we booked as Marina view..we got pool view which was ok as sea view too….walking down corridor to our room it looked like it hadn’t been vacuum for a month!! I will say room was very clean. We booked half board…sounds like we did the right thing! Food was ok..but not hot.paid €8 for chocolate milkshake at beach bar ..it was like it was made with water with no flavour!! No kettle in room so asked for one..said I wanted to make tea but didn’t get cups..when I went and ask reception for cups I was told I would have to go back to my room and dial 2!! Then next day took cups away and didn’t replace them….as a 5* hotel except toilet roll and shower gel to be replaced . Lifts are a big problem.6 floors with 3 tiny lifts..with so many families at this hotel it’s crazy! Most of the families headed to the beach so it was nice to wondered down to pool and not fight for a sun bed. Hotel info on tv needs updating …say restaurant open till 10…but a couple we spoke to got turned away at 9.30! We spent most evenings at Kai bar……you guys were great. Did I have a good holiday Yes…would I come back unfortunately No.
