“Amazing and Relaxing”

A few friends and I came down for a short weekend and it was amazing. The resort is clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet had ample options. The beach is right across the street and they will reserve beach chairs for you. Will def come back!

“Beautiful and relaxing resort”

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while we explored the tip of the Mani peninsula. My wife and I stayed here for two nights while we explored the tip of the Mani peninsula. This is a beautiful resort with stone buildings, very comfortable rooms, a great pool and bar area, and a beach right across the street. Breakfast was excellent and George was happy to describe all of the different offerings, many of them homemade. We had a small problem with the air conditioner our first night, but since it was late afternoon on Orthodox Easter Sunday nothing could really be done about it. It was not a big deal and was quickly fixed the next day. We appreciated that. Mary and Maria at the front desk were great, very kind, and so was the bar staff. I don't know if will ever return to the Gythio area, but if we did we would certainly stay here again.

This hotel is only separated from the sea by a small street (with very little traffic). You can park the car on the street. We arrived in the early afternoon, and could check in without any problem (was a close call though, the floor was still wet when we entered the room. The hotel has a relative small pool, there is no need for a bigger one as the sea is just across the street – with sunbeds and umbrella’s for the guests. The rooms are really nice, I really liked the visible stones on the inside. The size of the room is good, but not excessive. Be aware though: there are no elevators, so you have to carry your luggage when using the stairs. All was very clean, and the room has all you need – including a scale and coffee machine – but no coffee (was immediately addressed when I mentioned this to the staff). Breakfast was good, we also had dinner here and this was very good too. A small side note, and not specific for this hotel: the shower has a ‘cord’, that I mistakenly assumed to be the ventilator switch. It does not activate the ventilator, but the alarm… The staff reacted as they should, with discretion, but double check you are fine. Conclusion: very nice hotel and quiet location – provided you have a car available.
