Wonderful Hotel! Location is very good beachfront , has plenty of sun-beds , beach towels . Marvelous spacious site, gardens, swimming pools , restaurants. Service and cleanliness was impeccable , the hotel staff was the highlight! So kind and concerned! Gardens were sublime, so well maintained! Very good food. Everything surpassed our expectations! What a wonderful hotel with the kindest, most efficient and professional staff we have ever come across. A special shout out for Panos the guest services manager, Maria on reception, Angelo, George and Mado. We had a medical emergency on the our evening of arrival and everyone was so helpful, kind and understanding and as a result the remainder of out holiday was not affected. The pool area is stunning with easy access to the private beach, the rooms are spotlessly clean and restocked with coffee and bottled water every day, food quality is excellent and the staff are all exceptional. What could have been a disaster turned into a fantastic holiday and we will definitely return in the future.

Here’s my summary of this fabulous 5-star hotel, which certainly lives up to its 5-star reviews. The hotel is just a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, costing around €25. Check-in was quick and seamless. Within 15 minutes we had been welcomed by the incredibly warm and friendly staff and shown to our room. The hotel is a low-rise property with 162 suites, arranged in a U-shape around the main swimming pool and beautiful palm-filled gardens. In front of the main pool is a second pool overlooking the beach, while to the left is a large shallow pool, perfect for children. This was supervised. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, with complimentary pool towels available. The hotel operates a 30-minute sunbed reservation policy, although I never saw anyone reserving beds. The beach is just a few steps from the hotel and also has plenty of sunbeds and parasols for everyone, along with showers and changing cubicles. A couple of things to be aware of: * The beach is pebbly rather than sandy, so I would definitely recommend bringing jelly shoes. * The beach sunbeds are very low to the ground, so anyone with mobility issues may find them difficult to get on and off. I certainly did, so I preferred relaxing around the pool where the loungers are a more comfortable height. Food and drinks are available both around the pool and on the beach via waiter service. Dining options include the buffet restaurant or the à la carte Olive Restaurant, which during our stay occupied a reserved section of the outdoor terrace. Our meal for two, including one starter, two main courses, two desserts and two glasses of wine, came to around €90. We ate in the buffet restaurant once and found there to be a very good selection of both hot and cold dishes. Breakfast is also buffet style, with an excellent choice of hot and cold options, pastries, cakes, biscuits, cereals and a huge selection of fresh fruit. Sparkling wine is also available alongside fruit juices if you fancy starting the day with a little indulgence. Wine lovers will appreciate the good selection here. I drank the Idylle rosé wine which was 11 euros a glass, A beer about 6 euros a glass. There are various room categories available. We stayed in a ground-floor Garden Suite with a patio overlooking the gardens and out towards the sea. The room featured both a bath and a walk-in shower, double sinks, plenty of wardrobe space, a safe, fridge with complimentary bottled water, bathrobes and slippers. Drawer space is a little limited, so packing cubes definitely came in handy. One tip: not every room has a full-length mirror, so if that’s important to you, I’d recommend requesting one in advance. Throughout the hotel, the décor is light, airy and elegant, with calming shades of white and beige that create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. There is a very small gift shop selling souvenirs, but not much else, so if you need toiletries or other essentials there’s a supermarket less than a five-minute walk away. Entertainment isn’t available every evening. During our stay we enjoyed a saxophonist, a DJ and a traditional Greek music group. I imagine there will be more entertainment during the busier months of July and August. The entire hotel is flat with no hills or steep inclines, making it an excellent choice for anyone with walking difficulties. The hotel attracts both couples and families, and there is a discreet children’s club for younger guests. Another big advantage is the location. Within five minutes’ walk you’ll find the first bars, tavernas and supermarket, with many more restaurants and beach tavernas between 10 and 20 minutes away. A pleasant, flat 40-minute stroll takes you into the main resort centre where you’ll find even more bars, restaurants and shops. Alternatively, a taxi costs around €5. The staff really are one of this hotel’s greatest assets. Everyone is genuinely friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Fine for a couple of nights if you are in the area”

Stayed 2 nights. Location is good for exploring Mani coast- Kardamyli about 40 minutes by car. Kalamata is a bigger town and we didn't find much reason to explore it. Beach and pool are great. Staff is fine. We had trouble getting service at the beach. Rooms are small and clean, nothing special. Unfortunately the AC had a bad smell ( moldy-like) and they let us change rooms which was much better but still had a slight odor so we left the AC mostly off. Breakfast was good. Hotel has been renovated but still shows its' age in places. Weight room sparse with rusty weights and minimal equipment. Not a 5 star experience but also not bad and the beach is beautiful.
