“Monemvasia visit”
The hotel is very charming. Pack light when visiting Monemvasia and staying in the castle. Monemvasia is a great place to visit because you can stay within the castle walls and hike to see the upper town. This is our first visit to this part of the Peloponnese and it's been a great experience.

“Beautiful 2 night stay: Genuine hospitality, incredible breakfast”
We arrived at sunset from Nafplio. Drove the long way down the coast to the city grounds. Parked down bottom (all free/plenty of available parking), packed our necessary belongings for two nights into backpacks, and walked up the hill, a little under a mile, to the city entrance. “Great stay inside the castle”
We really enjoyed our stay in the castle especially room number 10 where we had a wonderful view of the ocean. The staff are exceptionally nice and super helpful. Highly recommend this stay! Bring along very comfortable shoes and be prepared for lots of steps but the views are worth it!

“Highly recommend Likinia”
Charming rooms with lots of space. “Old but new”. Staff service was excellent. The walk from the entry gate of the town to the hotel can be a challenge with large suitcases. That could be said for getting to all hotels in Monemvasia. Highly recommend Likinia! Look forward to our returning tri… more

“Very nice visit. Be sure and hike early morning to the lighthouse, Agia Sophia, and the Acropolis. The Yannis Ritsos!”
The nicest family runs this hotel! Alex is a gem! Our favorite restaurant was Voltes. Went there all three nights! Neat castle. Pack very, very, very light for your trek into the castle.
