Spectacular views, fabulous rooms, and baths... outstanding service, lovely breakfast.. a breathtaking place to stay once again… Never have been disappointed! We will return to this magical, moody spot in the Mani. Thank you again to a great staff.

Context - family from the UK who have travelled extensively around Greece in small, boutique hotels. Hotel - set in the most beautiful location with amazing views over the bay. The view from the breakfast room is breath-taking. It is however on a very steep hill and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The walk to breakfast each morning certainly burnt a few calories! Pool - the view from the pool is amazing, however during the peak season, probably too small for the size of the hotel. On a couple of days we couldn't get sunbeds in the afternoon when returning to the hotel. There is also a somewhat militant pool lady who will remove your towel and belongings if you dare leave your bed for more than 15/20 mins. One day, we decided to spend the whole day by the pool. After being there since 10am, at 1.30pm we went to get lunch. As we were coming back, we left our towels on two beds, the beach bag and other personal items. To our dismay, when returning an hour and half later, everything had been removed and someone else was sat there! I'm all for monitoring the reserving of sunbeds, but this was extreme and seemed a bit heavy handed. As she doesn't get to the pool until midday, she clearly hadn't appreciated we had been sat there since 10am, unlike some others who we noticed placed towels down at 9am and did not appear at the pool until midday. This however went unnoticed due to her working hours. Another issue we had is getting clean towels. As the pool didn't officially open until midday, clean towels were only available after this time. We have young children and are usually by the pool at 10am. Therefore instead of getting clean towels at midday, we requested clean ones at the end of the day around 6pm in readiness for the next day. Well the pool lady did not like this. On two occasions, she refused to provide these, despite only 10 minutes earlier happily handing them out to others. It was only due to my insistence that she handed them over with a rude huff. In all hotels we have previously stayed at, towels are simply in a trolley or box near the pool and you help yourself when you arrive at the pool and hand in at the end of the day. The rather strict towel policy was somewhat frustrating. Food - the breakfast is very nice and varied with lots of fresh, homemade food on offer. An alternative breakfast juice would be a bonus as if you don't like orange juice, there was nothing else on offer. More fresh fruit would also be beneficial. We did not eat at night, but the restaurant has the most spectacular sunset view and appeared busy later on (after 8.30). Room - we had a ground floor family suite. The room was well set up with effectively 2 bedrooms, one for the kids and one for us. A huge balcony with an amazing view. The room was very dark however, especially in the morning and especially in the bathroom with not much natural light. Also a lack of a full length mirror. A big issue was the lack of storage space. One small wardrobe and a couple of drawers is not enough for a family of 4 . There was plenty of space in the main bedroom for another small wardrobe and a full length mirror. Location - the setting is amazing. You can walk down a very steep path to Limeni village but it's a struggle back up and I wouldn't advise doing it at night as there is no lighting. You therefore need car to get anywhere. Limeni is pretty but ruined by the cars. It is a very small, quite upmarket fishing village and some exclusive restaurants, but the road is very narrow and should not allow cars. However there are many and we didn't like it because of this. We much preferred Aerpoli, a 5 min drive up the hill. It is a beautiful old village, with lots of bars and restaurants and comes alive at night. Also down the hill past Limeni is a very small hamlet with a couple of fish taverna's right on the sea. Highly recommend them. Authentic, well priced food and a beautiful location. Overall we enjoyed our stay and other than the few minor issues, we would probably stay here again. If the hotel could add some more sunbeds around the pool (easily done) and sort the couple of room improvements, it could be wonderful.

Was a beautiful site, spectacular views , clean and spacious. But a few things let it down. Car parking is OK but not outside your villa, do much walking involved or hotel buggy available. Was a beautiful site, spectacular views , clean and spacious. But a few things let it down. Car parking is OK but not outside your villa, do much walking involved or hotel buggy available. The breakfast is wonderful on the balcony overlooking Limeni and the water. Spectacular sunsets and great serving staff. The front desk staff not as welcoming seemed aloof and disinterested. The shower was poor and difficult to get a decent flow of water. Needs upgrading. The potential is for a 5 star resort , just needs some tweaks.!
