We spent our family holiday at Sani Dunes from 22 July to 4 August 2026, and this was already our third stay. Once again, it was an unforgettable experience. For us, Sani Dunes has become much more than just a beautiful resort. It is a place we return to and immediately feel at home – and the main reason for that is the incredible people who work there. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Private Garden, which was fantastic, beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job every single day. We particularly loved the little surprises they created with our children’s cuddly toys, arranging them on the beds in different ways. Our children absolutely loved coming back to the room to discover what was waiting for them. These small, thoughtful gestures make such a difference. Elena – the Heart of Sani Dunes for Us Our biggest and most heartfelt thank you goes to our Guest Relations Manager, Elena. Arriving at Sani Dunes and seeing Elena again genuinely felt like returning to someone we had missed. Her warmth, kindness and wonderful way with our children are truly exceptional. Despite being in a large luxury resort, Elena somehow manages to make everything feel incredibly personal and almost like being welcomed back by family. At the same time, she is exceptionally professional. Even before our arrival, she had discussed our preferences and wishes with us and made sure everything was prepared. Restaurant reservations, spa treatments and activities for our children were perfectly organised. We hardly had to think about anything ourselves and could simply enjoy our holiday. Our daily conversations with Elena became one of the highlights of our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and constantly looks for ways to make their experience even better. She even organised beautiful cuddly toys as surprise keepsakes for our children – something they were absolutely thrilled about. Without Elena, our holiday simply would not have been the same. For us, she truly is the heart and face of Sani Dunes. Triple A+! A huge thank you also goes to her sister Meropi, who looked after us wonderfully on Elena’s days off. She was equally warm, attentive and professional, and thanks to both of them we felt completely cared for throughout our stay. Wonderful Food and Outstanding Service Breakfast at Market was excellent every day: fresh, plentiful and beautifully presented, with outstanding service. A very special thank you to Miltos, Sofia, Keti and Anestis. Their friendliness and attentiveness made every morning a pleasure. We also visited Fresco and Water twice each. The food, presentation, atmosphere and service were all exceptional. Thank you especially to Dimitra, Jed and Anestis at Fresco and Kostas at Water for making our evenings so special. Our absolute favourite for authentic Greek cuisine remains Vosporos, which we visited four times. Sitting outside at the Marina beneath the olive trees, surrounded by beautiful Greek décor and accompanied by live Greek music, creates an atmosphere that is simply magical. But once again, it is the people who make the experience unforgettable. A huge thank you to Alexandra, Gustaf and Sakis. Their warm, open and genuinely Greek hospitality comes straight from the heart. For us, Vosporos is not just dinner – it is an experience and one of the places where you truly feel Greece. 🇬🇷 Petros & Fay – Our Pool Days Wouldn’t Have Been the Same Without You Finally, a very special thank you to Petros and Fay. These two wonderful people made every day by the pool special for our whole family. They seemed to anticipate our every wish, always looked after us perfectly and, most importantly, were incredibly warm and loving with our children. Our conversations with them were always genuine, personal and full of laughter. We never felt like we were simply being served – we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Our children became incredibly fond of both of them, and so did we. What Makes Sani Dunes So Special? Of course, Sani Dunes is beautiful. The rooms are excellent, the resort is immaculate, the food is outstanding and the service is first-class. But what truly makes Sani Dunes special are the people. Elena, Meropi, Miltos, Sofia, Keti, Anestis, Dimitra, Jed, Kostas, Alexandra, Gustaf, Sakis, Petros and Fay – you are the reason a beautiful luxury resort becomes something much more personal and memorable. After three stays, Sani Dunes no longer feels like simply going on holiday. It feels a little like coming home to friends.
