I expected relaxation, great service and a good time and I got more than I could've ever imagined. The service was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Beyond amazing. Antonio, Amanda, Bassey, Hensley and Rachel stood out. They made us feel so comfortable and appreciated. Sandals Grenada is DEFINITELY on my list as a place to visit again.

“Another Day In Paradise!”

Having already visited another Sandals (Ochi) our expectations were already high, Grenada blew these away! I'll start by saying Grenada is definitely a less lively resort, if you are expecting pool foam parties this isn't for you. The Good - The staff make this resort absolutely stand out, I've mentioned some of them below who really made our experience amazing but the people of Grenada are so genuinely warm and want you to have a great experience on their island. - The resort itself is stunning, it has a more modern feel that I enjoyed, we were in the lovers lagoon area and loved our room. We were opposite the runway but please don't be put off by this, there are 4/5 flights a day and you never really hear anything. The 'lagoon' had little turtles in it and iguanas in the trees around the outside. - From checkin Kaleb did a great job of showing us around the resort and our room and offering some of his own recommendations while we were there. - Food was really good here and we never had a bad meal, what was nice compared with Ochi is you never had to wait for any restaurants, it's a smaller resort which has a more intimate feel. - Our favourite restaurant was Butches, the food was incredible (try the lobster Mac and cheese and creamed spinach) Vanesta was a great waitress and very friendly. - In Spices Kesron really brought the silver service and always made sure our drinks were kept full, in the Italian restaurant Salina was the stand out for us during a really busy evening (try the arancini balls and lamb main). - The French restaurant is in a beautiful setting and kept really cool, Sausa did a really great job of looking after us here, the scallops here are some of the best I've had. - In Soy Emel one of the sushi chefs kept offering us more which we couldn't turn down and loved his recommendations. - In the evening Kareem and Anthony made sure we always had a drink and I really enjoyed some of Kareems suggested drinks including the one he had created for sandals 40th anniversary. The water sports team here really stand out and are a credit to sandals, they weren't pushy at all and really just wanted us to have a good time always going out of their way to ensure this, we did the Snuba trip with Cleveland and he was brilliant, we really enjoyed our chats with him throughout the whole trip and a genuinely lovely person who I know will go far. Curtleigh was a fantastic snorkel guide and we kept joining on the trips with him as he always had something new to show us on each trip! Finally Lester our boat captain for his stories of the island whilst on the Snuba trip. Finally we wanted to mention Alvin at Neptunes, we really enjoyed a drink with him in the evening and made it a daily occurrence, thanks for all of the stories and the drinks you made for us. Alvin even made some fresh ginger beer for us as the bar had run out. - Sway in the evening we loved hearing his singing and the variety of the acts of the entertainment team who were all very talented It's a long review but I want to ensure that these people are recognised as they work so hard to make our trip so special. The not so good... - The schedule for the entertainment was nowhere to be seen, genuinely don't know where on the resort to find this other than the app which is really vague and sometimes inaccurate. The music around the 'party' pool was sometimes started late and really should run 10-4 at the very least. Some of the DJ's made a great effort and read the room well and some just put on a pre-made playlist and disappeared. - Normally there is a white party at sandals but apparently not at Grenada, there was no mention of it other than some guests who had butlers so some were in white but majority weren't, in Ochi this was a big deal and a fun night. - When we checked in they recognised I would be there on my birthday, they said they would look to arrange something for this, my wife also spoke to them separately and they said they would do something... Absolutely nothing was done which was quite sad... given the price of sandals and being a 5* resort you should not need a butler to have something special on your birthday this is a basic of any 5* hotel and the multiple staff saying they would do something for nothing to be done was a huge disappointment. - We had a 10% discount as a sandals member and 'watersports' is listed on this under the terms, apparently that doesn't include watersports activities which makes no sense to me and only includes the dive shop hats/t shirts etc. I'm still quite sceptical about this as even the reception staff did not feel clear, it felt a bit ridiculous that there was such a quibble about $30 which felt unnecessary.

“Friendly Atmosphere”

Grenada was beautiful. The staff were amazing. Antonio is the best for meeting your evening needs. Mario and Terrell at the party pool were best for meeting your hydration needs. Overall, great staff, great food, great experience. We will be returning.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at Sandals Grenada. We have been to many Sandals properties and each is unique and special. The people at the resort are wonderful . There is always one shining star and at the resort it is Nordica at the Living Room bar! Nordica always went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. She truly made our trip special.
