“An incredible and memorable stay in Grenada!”

We just returned from an amazing 4-night/5-day stay at Silversands Grande Anse, and we truly cannot recommend this resort enough. First, the property itself is stunning: from the dramatic entrance with the 100-meter pool to the beautifully designed grounds and bedrooms. Everything feels thoughtfully curated and harmonious, and it’s all complemented by warm, genuinely friendly service. The resort is a bit more tucked away at one end of Grand Anse Beach. While it may not be as “dramatic” as the busier central stretch, it’s quieter and just as beautiful. The sand is soft and white, and when we were there, the water was so clear you could spot starfish, schools of tiny fish, and little crabs with the naked eye. Walking along the beach, you also get a feel for daily Grenadian life, kids splashing in the water, teenagers playing beach soccer, dogs chasing balls, fishermen at work. It was such a special, authentic experience, and everyone we encountered was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We spent a lot of time swimming, both in the ocean and in the resort’s incredible pool, and I loved how close they are to each other (I can now officially say I’ve swum laps in a 100-meter pool). The ocean water was also calm which allowed us to easily kayak. The food across the property was great. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten and dairy intolerance, even asking the pastry chef to make GF/DF cookies for me. At one point, it felt like everyone knew and was looking out for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also had lunch and dinner at Grenadian Grill, which I thought was very solid for a beachside restaurant (we didn’t make it to Asiatique this time). We stayed in a first-floor ocean-view room in Building 1. Just a small note: you do get a lovely view of the ocean and sunsets from your room, but you’ll also see the rooftops of the villas. It seems like fully unobstructed ocean views are reserved for the villas themselves. That said, it didn’t take away from the experience, watching the sunset from our balcony before dinner was still a highlight. We visited Silversands Beach House for dinner one evening (at Azzuro, which was good), and while the property is beautiful, smaller, more secluded, and arguably more romantic, we personally preferred the Grand Anse location for its longer beach and that incredible pool. Lastly, I’d be remiss not to mention one of the most charming and “homey” features of the property: a friendly little cat named Silver. Her coat perfectly matches the aesthetic of the resort, and she lives on property full-time, enjoying smoked salmon and other treats from the staff. She’s clearly won over many guests—including us—and added one more special touch that makes us want to return to Silversands Grand Anse.
