My wife and I visited True Blue on a day pass since we had never been to resort and wanted to check it out. The location is alright, but kind of tucked away from a lot of the other things. I probably wouldn't want to stay here as it isn't close to Grand Anse Beach. The day passes were $150 per person and lasted from 9am to 6pm. They included the breakfast buffet, a three course lunch, unlimited drinks and use of the facilities. The meals were very good and the drinks that we had were also very good. The nutmeg colada was awesome. The pools are nice, but definitely look better in the photos. The staff was friendly, but service at the rum bar was slow, considering the small amount of people around on the day we visited. The highlight of the day though was the spa. We had booked two services each in addition to the day passes. Our massages and scrubs were excellent. I would definitely return for spa services, but I don't thin the day pass was really worth it.

We booked a 10-day stay for my partner, child, and myself, but unfortunately our experience started very poorly. On arrival, the reception staff member, Devony, had no record of our booking. She showed me multiple folders of expected arrivals, and we weren’t listed. I was then asked to prove that I had a booking. TUI later confirmed that the hotel had double-booked our room. Rather than handling the situation professionally, the staff member was dismissive, simply saying “these things happen,” without offering a proper explanation or reassurance. It felt like the issue was brushed aside, possibly because she wouldn’t be on shift the next day. As a goodwill gesture, we were offered a complimentary meal, with a limited choice of chicken or fish. However, when we went to the restaurant, we were met by a very rude and dismissive staff member who claimed she was too busy, despite appearing disengaged. To make matters worse, we later discovered at checkout that this “complimentary” meal had been added to our bill, which we then had to dispute and have removed. Communication with staff throughout the stay was often poor, and my partner in particular experienced dismissive and rude interactions. While TUI customer service was very helpful and resolved issues on their end, the resort staff did not reflect the same level of care. Housekeeping was another issue. The cleaning staff were uncooperative and reluctant to return when asked, and the quality of cleaning was below expectations. There was also constant noise outside the room, including sweeping and leaf blowing, which made it difficult to relax. The resort itself, including the waterfront suite, was average at best. On a positive note, the breakfast staff were friendly and the food was good. However, we were not informed about useful amenities such as the beach shuttle or the WhatsApp group until several days into our stay, by which time we had already been making our own arrangements. Overall, the issues on arrival significantly delayed the start of our holiday and set the tone for the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
