“Lovey park, highly recommended.”

This is our second stay at a EuroParcs and we have been very impressed both times. The park is clean and spacious with a variety of accommodations. We booked a smaller chalet but still had a good amount of private outside space and the chalet more than met our needs, being slightly bigger than a 2 bed static caravan and very clean. The park is quiet but there are free activities most days (in Dutch but the staff made an effort to include our children by speaking English to them) and you can hire bikes and SUPs, as well as swim in the lake. There are lots of tourist attractions within a half hour drive and the park itself is only just over 3 hours from Dunkirk so we took our car. As is common in these type of parks, bed linen is an added extra and you either need to hire towels from reception or bring your own - we did the latter - but the cost of two weeks accommodation here was much cheaper than the equivalent in the UK. Highly recommended!

“Great place to stay with friends”

My friends and I stayed here for 5 days during the low season. We had a free upgrade, so we had a bungalow with 10 or 11 beds, 3 bathrooms and a sauna. My friends and I stayed here for 5 days during the low season. We had a free upgrade, so we had a bungalow with 10 or 11 beds, 3 bathrooms and a sauna. The bungalow was beautiful and neat, it looked like we were using it for the first time. There isn't a swimming pool on the park, but the little lake is nice to swim in if you want to cool down. The park is right next to a forest with dunes, where you can go on walks.There's also a supermarket next to the park, which came in very handy too. I can definitely recommend staying here!

“nice … but could be so much better!”

The house was great! so here is what we liked… Main bedroom = the beds were ver comfortable, even the pillows were nice! the sheets were very clean too -no screen on the bedroom window, that would be nice Second bedroom = was bunk beds, we used this as storage for our suitcases and suplies and our walk in closet, since it was super tiny Kitchen = very well equipped! pots and pans, all the silverware and cooking utensils you will need, -water cooker -auto drip coffee machine worked very well -dishwasher was great! -microwave …. this was partly our fault, as i do not have experience with one of these combi microwave/oven things… but we just warmed up food in a frying pan.. living room = screens on the windows would be nice, and maybe a screen door to the terrace? -TV is not huge but not small, and works well -wlan or wifi is pretty good, just don’t expect a lot, we tried streaming some movies and it worked… most of the time. -couch was pretty good! although the furniture shows some age, (of course it will … it has a new family in it every week or so… and people are rought on furniture) -the chairs were comfortable but not clean, we used the sheets from the spare bedroom to cover them up and have a clean place to sit -the chairs aroung the dining room table were good but two were very well worn - the dining room table was nice, wooden…. like real wood, with cracks and such… and not the easiest surface to clean… so that wa a bit different Terrace = we had a covered terrace, which was great, as rain was predicted! the furniture was the cheapest you could find anywhere … but it was more comfortable than it looks! i cleaned them off with a good scrubbing and it served us well now to the not so good stuff…. they sell some of these little houses to permanent residents and those residents have a bit of an attitude towards us visitors…. which makes no sense to me at all…. like why did you buy a house in a park and then get mad when people visit the park? anyway… there were a few of them who visited each other every night… but mostly this was not a big deal as they were quiet by 10 pm… with one exception of the dog who barked at all hours of the night! When i complained about his to the manager and the ladies at reception, the manager walked away to ge sit and his desk and eat a sandwich… right in front of me… so obciously he didnt care. i think the worst thing though was the landscapers that trimmed all the bushes and trees, and then just left the trimmings there for the next 3 days! on the terrace furniture, on our car, all over the sidewalk… it became apparent that they were not coming back after the 1st day, so i cleaned the terrace and sidewalks and my car. I did not bother going to the reception and complaining again as the dog was still barking every night… that is until i got out of bed and walked across the street and told her to shut that dog up now. it worked for that night, but the next night he was barking again… so be aware that there are residents in this park that just don’t care about you or your holiday. all in all, this type of holiday suits us very very well! unfortunately our first experience with Europarcs was not as enjoyable as it could have been. I do a good job of shielding my wife from this stuff, but the dog barking i could not fix, and it seems that Europarcs couldn’t either….
