The hotel has 18 stores and the upper floors (floor 17 and 18) offer a good view of the city through large, ceiling to floor windows . The drawback is that the windows cannot be opened and the inside of the room feels stuffy all the time despite the AC. The rooms are on the small side and the bathroom is cramped and very basic. There is very little space in the wardrobe for clothes and in the room for suitcases. We stayed on the 18th floor, a room with a king size bed which was very comfortable, but limited pillow menu (a larger hard pillow and a smaller softer one). The interior is dated and the carpet was slightly stained - but acceptable. The cleaning is done "on request" through the hotel app which is very complicated and time consuming. We spent 5 days in the hotel and had the room cleaned once due to this complicated process. Also the coffee pods for the coffee machine are not replaced if the room is not done. This is something the hotel needs to address! The check in and out can also be done through the app but it's not reliable and a bit confusing. There is a Grundig flat TV in the room with various channels in Dutch, English, German etc. The WiFi is easy to access and can be used throughout the hotel. Very good public transport connection to the center of Amsterdam (the underground station is in front of the hotel which is great!). The car park has direct interior communication with the hotel, is covered and secure and has chargers for EVs. The restaurant and the bar are very good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good and plentiful but there is limited choice for dinner in the evening (we ate in the center of Amsterdam). The reception staff is very friendly and helpful as well. There is a small gym and sauna which we did not use. Overall basic but comfortable hotel with its own carpark, if you travel by car, excellent public transport connections for exploring Amsterdam , good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. We may use it again if we visit Amsterdam.

As the saying goes, it’s exactly what is written on the tin. This is a clean, modern hotel with well-designed rooms, located in the suburbs of Amsterdam. Staff was friendly too. A major advantage is the Metro station is literally across the road, making it extremely convenient to get into the city. For travelers exploring Europe on a budget who still want a comfortable and stylish place to stay, this hotel is a great fit. It’s not cheap but not outrageously expensive; certainly not when compared to numerous hotels in the city. In fact, in European cities with efficient public transport, I’d highly recommend considering quality hotels in nearby suburbs rather than staying right in the centre and spending a fortune in the process. The only real downside was the bathroom setup—specifically the glass door, a design trend I personally find beyond frustrating in many new hotels. A lot more privacy would definitely be appreciated. Another drawback is the breakfast price, which is quite steep at €25 per person. My suggestion: grab a coffee from the hotel bar to fuel yourself for the 10–15 minute Metro ride into the city centre where you’ll find plenty of cafés offering excellent breakfasts at far more reasonable prices.

“Comfortable but a little inconvenient”

We were on the 17th floor and had a great view. The hotel is fine. The downside is you need to jump on the train every time you want to eat. Breakfast at the hotel is 25 euro pp. 3 train stops away at the Breakfast Club Cafe, and breakfast is 15 euro pp.
