“Great and clean value”
Excellent value for money, clean and tidy. Host is exceptionally helpful and kind. All necessary basics included. Beautifully prepared breakfest loaded us up for a round of golf at the extraordinary Höfn’s golfclub. Both of us slept soundly in this peaceful establishment.

“Good”
From the outside the inn looks run down, but it’s quite nice on the inside. It says that there is a 24 hour front desk, but it’s not true. The whole time we were there, there was nobody. There’s no fridge which is unfortunate but expected. Overall it’s a pretty good place!

“Simple and value for money”
Room is generally big, comfortable and clean. Bathroom is clean just not elevated, thus, water tends to flow over to the other side. Checking-in is easy. Inn is easy to find, location is pretty centralized and near restaurants. Value for money as we only need a night stay.

“A place to take it easy.”
The nearby waterfalls make this stop worthwhile. Best to find a restaurant the rooms do not offer any restaurant facilities. We have stayed in this area before. Take the time for some day trips to run out to see the sights. Waterfalls, great camera pics. Some hiking weather permitting.

“No thrill overnight - a bit too expensive for what it is.”
The hotel is located close just off the main road coming into town. We arrived in the evening, and there was no one at the reception. Reception is operated for 2 hours a day from 10-12, and they are supposed to notify guests of their room number and the code to enter by email. We didn't receive any… more
