This is still near the city/commercial area so I think the price is still quite ok. Remember that Iceland is expensive as it is, a normal room/apartment normally ranges 200-300 USD. Breakfast is included with bread, cereals, fruits, jams, coffee, juice, ham. With elevator. This is a self checkin apartment so make sure you receive an email from them prior to arriving for the door code and room assignment. The room has only a very small window which made it a little bit stuffy if the weather is not too cold. Outside (look left) and you will see KFC nearby about 3 min walk.

after days amid nothing entering a town is a little shock of its own and automatic self checking it's a facility as long as it works otherwise it's another little problem ones have to solve before get in and relax our room, clean and spacious was facing the main road of sellfoss (as all the odd) and so noisy till late in the evening yet the coffee machine is welcomed simple but comfortable forniture parking is free just at the entrance and plenty of restaurants in the neightborhood

Ok we found the hotel very impersonal, by meaning no one to talk to, good or bad, self check inn and I mean no one. Cleanliness over all just below average, reason been arrived all very clean but going into day two room had not been touched or change of towels that carried on into day three of our stay Restraunt, well can't say anything, on the Saturday night after a day's sightseeing arrived back at the hotel about 7.15 pm went got a shower change ect went down to eat about 8.15pm and the place was shut, even though there was a sign outside the restaurant say closes 9 pm??? Plus sides WiFi, parking great. And the location I could not have asked for better, easy access to golden circle area and south of the country.

Bella hotel is located in the main street of Selfoss which is at the same time a part of the Route 1 - traffic road which encircles the entire island. Therefore, you might conclude it's a busy road, so getting a room on the opposite side would be good. However, that's pure luck depending on the email you'll get, as there's no one in the hotel. Like many others, this hotel is also unstaffed to cut expenses. A day before arrival you'll be emailed the code which is valid for entering the hotel and your room as well. Lobby is a small room with seating area and elevator. Room is basic - it was clean, with beds, refrigerator, small closet and fair size bathroom. That's it. Free parking in front and around the hotel. Location is good, everything in walking distance, no need for car (we left it parked). THINGS TO DO: Sundholl Selfoos public baths - 5 min walk, normal entry fee (read that review). Great place to relax after all day out. DINING: I suggest going to "Old Dairy Food Hall" - 10 min walk. Mall like live cooking restaurants with burgers, Thai, fish, Mex,.... Good value for money.
