“Recommended guesthouse near Vik”
We enjoy a lot our stay here, the guesthouse is near Road 1 and very convenient when staying near Vik. Staff was really nice. Bedrooms are big with good views and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen were well-equipped and clean.

“Lovely Place”
This was one of our favorite guest houses we stayed at in Iceland. The guesthouse was incredibly clean and the beds were comfortable. Felt like home. The hostess were also very kind, thank you for letting us stay here!

“Convenient location”
We stayed one night at the Giljur Guesthouse near Vik, Iceland. If you are traveling the ring road counter clockwise, the guest house is just past Dyrhólaey (the lighthouse and lava arches) on the left and only a 5-7 minute drive to Vik (convenient for dinner). “Typical Icelandic Guesthouse”
Guesthouse Giljur is a typical Icelandic guesthouse, nothing fancy, but for an overnight stay it is perfect. Situated on the guests private farm, you get an ok icelandic breakfast. Our room was quite big. We had chosen shared bathroom, and they even had 2. So you never had to wait!
