Our stay at Suryagarh was nothing short of exceptional. What stood out the most was the staff. It would almost be unfair to single out individuals because every single team member we encountered was warm, smiling, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. We never came across anyone who was not courteous or eager to help. That consistency across the entire property is remarkable. Having said that, special thanks to Rahul, Sudipta, Aishwarya, Devesh from Nosh, Anand from Housekeeping, Rajat at Reception, and many others whose names we unfortunately did not note down. We will also fondly remember two wonderful staff members who helped look after our baby so that we could enjoy our meals peacefully. Their kindness and care were greatly appreciated. The excellence begins right from the moment you arrive. The welcome experience was warm, thoughtful, and perfectly executed. Check-in was seamless, with Rajat ensuring that everything was handled efficiently while making us feel genuinely welcome. What impressed us most were the small gestures that often define true luxury. While walking outdoors in the harsh midday desert sun of Jaisalmer, a staff member instinctively held an umbrella over our baby to protect her from the heat. It may seem like a small act, but it perfectly captures the level of attentiveness and care that Suryagarh delivers throughout the stay. These thoughtful touches are not occasional exceptions—they are woven into the guest experience and reflect the standards one would expect from a truly world-class luxury hotel. Another aspect that deserves special mention is how readily the staff assist guests with photographs. Whether it was a quick couple's photo or helping us capture special family moments, the team was always willing to help with a smile. This may sound like a small detail, but it significantly enhances the guest experience and ensures that beautiful memories are preserved. A special mention must go to Devi Shankar, who not only helped us take photographs but also suggested a few creative angles and locations that resulted in some of our favorite pictures from the trip. His enthusiasm and eye for detail transformed simple photographs into lasting memories. The hotel itself is magnificent. In fact, one could easily spend seven nights here and still discover new corners and experiences at a leisurely pace. The property is vast, so be prepared to walk if you truly want to explore it—but every step is worth it. One of the highlights of the property is its animal farm. Beyond being a charming attraction, it offers a stunning setting to enjoy the sunset. Watching the desert sky change colors while overlooking the farm was one of the most peaceful and memorable experiences of our stay. The food deserves special mention. Every meal reflected the freshness and quality of its ingredients, many of which come from the hotel's own organic garden. The attention to detail in the culinary experience was evident throughout our stay. Devesh,Madhu,Aruna and the team at Nosh ensured that every dining experience was enjoyable and memorable. Housekeeping was equally impressive. Anand did a wonderful job ensuring that our room was always immaculate and that we felt completely at home. His attention to detail and commitment to guest comfort perfectly reflected the high standards maintained across the hotel. During our stay, we happened to share the hotel and cultural programme with a very high-profile international guest. What impressed us was how seamlessly the hotel managed such a VIP stay without affecting the comfort, privacy, or freedom of other guests. To us, this was a powerful testament to Suryagarh's philosophy of treating every guest like a VIP. We also appreciated the hotel's water-harvesting initiatives. In a desert region where water is such a precious resource, these sustainability efforts slightly ease the guilt of enjoying a long shower or a relaxing bathtub experience. Above all, Suryagarh succeeds in delivering something beyond luxury—it gives its guests a genuine sense of royalty. The combination of outstanding hospitality, beautiful architecture, excellent food, thoughtful sustainability practices, and unforgettable experiences makes this a destination in itself rather than simply a place to stay. The true hallmark of Suryagarh is that luxury here is not defined by grand architecture or lavish amenities alone. It is defined by hundreds of thoughtful actions performed daily by people who genuinely care about their guests. From reception to housekeeping, from the restaurants to the cultural experiences, every interaction consistently reflected warmth, professionalism, and pride in their work. We are missing many such small moments in this review as there is limitation on number of words. We left with wonderful memories, beautiful photographs, and a strong desire to return. Suryagarh is not merely a hotel—it is an experience, and one that we will cherish for years to come.

Suryagarh Jaisalmer feels like stepping into a palace in the middle of the desert. It's a true oasis surrounded by endless sand dunes. The property is absolutely beautiful, with a sense of grandeur that still feels warm and inviting. But what made it unforgettable was how the staff treated us, with such care and attention that we genuinely felt like royalty. Their hospitality turned an already stunning setting into a deeply memorable experience. From our drivers taking us to a local market to purchase jackets, to ordering whatever food we wanted 24/7. We opted to do the Dinner on the Dunes (which you must reserve in advance). This was easily one of the most magical experiences of our trip in Jaisalmir. Watching the sun set over the dunes, followed by an intimate dinner in the middle of the desert, felt surreal. What made it even more special was the care from the team. The personal chefs went out of their way to accommodate my allergies, preparing everything separately, which meant I could fully relax and enjoy the meal. Our waiter, Susil, was incredibly kind and attentive, never rushing us and even letting us stay well into the night despite the freezing cold. The food was delicious and authentically traditional, and ending the evening stargazing in complete silence in the desert is something I’ll never forget. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
