We arrived in the early hours at Delhi airport and were met by the complimentary taxi arranged by MrSameer from the hotel this was a wonderful start to our trip and very convenient At the hotel as we were early the lovely staff at reception let us use a room until ours became available later that day We ate at the hotel restaurant several times breakfast & dinner All food is excellent, tasty and good value The waiter Sheyam was very kind and helpful All staff are wonderful friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble like extra pillows which we asked for, arranging taxis and generally we felt very well looked after The room was spacious clean modern with extra touches like toiletries, a kettle, hairdryer and water provided which were great Aamiro was very helpful He advised us where to visit, on tours and arranged everything we needed he is very knowledgeable and speaks excellent English which made it easy for us He helped us navigate the metro which was a great way to get around the city You can walk to many tourist attractions from the hotel which we did. It’s in a very vibrant area which we enjoyed mooching around Train station / metro / Connaught place all within 15/20 mins walk and many markets / temples to see within an easy walk I highly recommend this hotel

The airport pickup you get is great and was well organised, the staff are lovely and the food is very cheap and absolutely marvellous! Now to the room, we booked one with a window(city view) you can see from the photo it was tiny, at the side and was a view of a wall. Not a big deal as we were there to see the city not look at it from the room but a bit more daylight would have been nice. The room itself was interesting, high end products have been used but just not finished well. Bathroom light switch had a hole in it and wires in the bathroom were broken or exposed. The wall was not properly painted and had a corner where damp had got it. At certain times you need to ask for hot water to be turned on which we did not know the first day and had a cold shower. The room was not cleaned at all during our 6 night stay and obviously this means your towels stay damp. Probably should have asked about it but it was doing the job and we were interested to wait and see if it would ever actually happen as listed as daily cleaning when we booked it. With the quality of staff and food if they just took the time to finish the job this would be great. It’s convenient for the metro station and only 1 stop away from Rajiv Chowk. You will get hassle in the way to the metro but that’s just typical for the area. It’s actually no bother to deal with. It was nice to stay so central and a good price but I must admit on our return to Delhi we went to the Novotel one stop along the metro line.

Booked this hotel from some of the reviews. When we got to the hotel we thought what have we done, the surroundings outside the hotel not good at all, the street had loads of rubbish, just not great. The hotel inside was OK, not as aglamorous as the pictures on the web site. You would call reception to ask for loo rolls and Ice and then have two different people to bring them to your room and then jut stand there waiting for a tip. There were normally about three people on reception plus porters floating around, good knows what they did all day. Like I said the room was OK, walking the local streets wasn't very pleasant, so much rubbish, kids begging, and people following u to sell u something. Went.to go down a side.street and this guy said don't go down there it's two dangerous. We had booked three nights here but our plane was delayed so only had two, thank God as there is nothing to do. We used this as a base to go to the taj mahal which was amazing, if you go by train go first class, the breakfast was good, the experience great. Huge bolt on the inside of our door. Tje pictures were from out side our hotel.

The reviews here are misleading, if you leave a negative feedback you are asked by manager to amend the scoring.
