: This was our sixth visit to Heritage and our first since 2019 since when the hotel has seen many improvements. The rooms are well furnished and the bathrooms and shower excellent.and thanks to Valanko for keeping us tidy throughout the week.The swimming pool has been remodelled and the gardens are immaculate.They have retained many of the staff and it was great to be recognised and welcomed back by so many of them.They are all terrific and give the hotel a really friendly feel The food was excellent and our meal at Bonita terrific.Already booked for 2027 Congratulations to Mr Velho and his team. we really enjoyed our return to to Heritage and have already booked for.

Our seventh visit with the last in 2019, since when the hotel has seen many improvements. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom and shower excellent.Thanks to Valanko for keeping us clear and tidy for the week.The pool area is spotless and the gardens immaculate.It was terrific to be recognised and welcomed back by many of the staff who continue to do everything to make your holiday special. Food is excellent and our meal at the Bonita restaurant was perfect. Many thanks to Mr Velho and his great team. it was great to return and we have already booked for 2027.

“Brilliant Holiday”

Visited in January, loved it so much we went back again in March! We stayed in a club room, spacious, smart tv so we could log into Netflix. All the staff are really lovely and welcoming. Visited in January, loved it so much we went back again in March! We stayed in a club room, spacious, smart tv so we could log into Netflix. All the staff are really lovely and welcoming. Gardens are beautiful. We went B&B, didn’t bother with all inclusive, drinks in the hotel are expensive for Goa but 200 rupees for a Kingfisher Ultra and 150 rupees for a gin is still very cheap compared to the UK. We ate in Bonita’s and Mama Miso, Aaron’s beach shack. Pentagon is a short taxi ride away and is a nice night out for dinner and live music. Highly recommend a little place outside the hotel to the left, there’s a small shop, jewellers and shack with Astro turf outside. Try it! 40 rupees for a gin! Best butter chicken in Goa, my partner was addicted to Chicken 65 with chapati’s. If you tell Derek in the morning what fish you’d like for the evening, he’ll go get it from the market for you fresh, so cheap and absolutely delicious food. There’s a jewellers next door called Sanlin. His name is Raj. If you’re looking for something bespoke or special, he is definitely your man. Very reasonable prices too and not pushy which I liked. He made me some stunning tanzanite and diamond earrings with a matching tanzanite tennis bracelet. Photos really don’t do them justice. We will definitely be back next year!!

We stayed at this hotel after a Northern India tour with Mercury Holidays. It wasn’t our original choice, and we only found out on arrival in Goa, but overall we had a very pleasant stay. The standout feature is definitely the staff—everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive. A special mention to Rowan in the restaurant, who remembered our drinks order each morning and brought tea and coffee without us needing to ask. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a small balcony overlooking the pool. Space was a little tight for suitcases, but it was otherwise a good size. Food at Chutneys (the main restaurant) was varied and enjoyable across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, although the 7:30pm dinner opening felt quite late. The all-inclusive package is decent, but worth noting that premium drinks and cocktails are not included. We tried both specialty restaurants—Bonita (Italian) and Mama Miso. Bonita was nice, but unfortunately I felt unwell the following day, which put us off returning. Mama Miso, however, was excellent: delicious food and very generous portions. Service was a bit slow, possibly due to a gas shortage at the time, but still well worth a visit. The pool area was well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds and a heated pool at a comfortable temperature. The two bars were great, with evening entertainment around the pool bar adding to the atmosphere. The beach is a short walk away (or accessible by buggy), and there’s a lovely beach shack where we enjoyed sunset drinks. We also had a spa treatment, which was fantastic and very reasonably priced. A really nice touch was how the hotel marked special occasions—during our stay it was my birthday, and another couple were on honeymoon. The team made a real effort with decorations, cake, and even a bottle of wine, which was much appreciated. The main downside was the activities. The hotel advertises things like yoga, cooking classes, and cocktail masterclasses, but unfortunately none of these took place during our stay, despite booking, which was disappointing. Also worth noting the hotel is quite remote, so excursions may be needed if you want to explore. Overall, a relaxing stay with excellent staff, but a few areas that could be improved.
