Our stay at Hotel Royal Palace was overall satisfactory. The food, staff, and room were all commendable. However, we did face a few issues that we feel should be addressed. Firstly, the check-out timing was unusually early. We have stayed at numerous properties across India, ranging from luxury to budget hotels, but have never been asked to check out as early as 7:30 AM. Being requested to vacate the room during breakfast hours (7:30 AM to 10:30 AM) was quite inconvenient. Additionally, we were informed that even a delay of 20–25 minutes could result in extra charges. We strongly recommend reconsidering the check-in and check-out policy to align with the standard timings followed by most hotels. Secondly, there was a significant discrepancy in the room rates. When contacting the hotel directly, we were quoted prices ranging from ₹3,500 to ₹6,500. However, the same rooms were available online for around ₹2,500. This vast difference in pricing is confusing and concerning—it creates a sense of mistrust and gives off a very negative impression, almost to the point of feeling like a “Beware” warning should be issued. We hope you take this feedback seriously and make necessary adjustments to improve the guest experience.
