“A beautiful old fashioned hotel with a fantastic view on the lake.”
We have been very happy of our staying in this historic hotel. From our room the view of the lake was astounding day and night. Excellent food and super gentle staff.

“Lake Pichola Hotel is THE place to stay.”
Lake Pichola Hotel is an incredible place to stay. The rooms are clean and airy and well maintained. The balcony overlooking the lake is just a magic private place to just sit with a cup of tea/coffee/chai or wine. Seeing the lights come on around the lake as the sun sets is an experience in itself… more

“Would not return”
The hotel has an amazing position on Lake Pichola and you arrive either by boat or Tuktuk. However the rooms are dated and not clean. There was black mould around the shower and the sink was held together with white paint. Breakfast was reasonable but we noticed the staff moving food around with ba… more

“Great views and that’s about it.”
Great view from our private balcony. Other than that I was quite disappointed. The bathroom was quite dirty with black mould around the taps. The hotel overall felt it needed a good clean and looked tired. They do not have a bar which they show on their website and you can only book in the restaura… more
