I stayed with my wife and one of my friend and family. This hotel is located near Ooty lake and in the attached area of horticulture. We booked a taxi from Coimbatore to reach the hotel; The fare was INR 2200. You can take bus also from Gandhipuram bus station and it will take around 2 and half hours. The hotel had spacious room with parking facility and the huge area ( about 50 acre) of lush green horticulture which was free of entry fee for the tourist who stayed in that hotel. Service of the hotel was good but restaurant had less options . I took a deep tissue massage in the hotel by Mr Francis ( if I am not confused about the name) and he was fantastic. I booked the hotel from government website. We really enjoyed the stay and highly recommendable.

A Karnataka State undertaking in Udagamandalam (Ooty), Tamil Nadu, Hotel Mayura Sudarshan is the most amazing place for your stay in Ooty. A widespread area that has comfortable accommodation, a recreation area, a restaurant, and a garden, well known as the Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden, sprawling across 38 acres of land and considered as the second largest garden within the hill station The enquiry was well handled and the booking was smooth following a pre payment. Spacious, Clean, well equipped with all the necessities Their wood house is a must try experience but is fast filling, so an advance booking is recommended and ready to help staff. Its USP is the all inclusive, beautiful and expansive Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden which does not require you to visit any other place in Ooty. However, service needs enhancement in swiftness. The travel arrangements were also available to my satisfaction, infact very good. Things to watchout for are the Power cuts (generator available), unavailability of room Heaters (bathroom has the water heater), not even on rent, they do readily provide extra blankets on request find the tariffs a bit on the higher side for a room without any A/C (although not required) or fan or room heater Restaurant : a mix of Veg and non-veg menu The buffet breakfast was served hot and absolutely a must try, quick refills and live counter, good variety spread, swift service However, the dinner was not up-to the mark, absolutely sluggish service, not many options for vegetarians, ambiance also too dim, average taste (but don't worry swiggy available in Ooty ;)) Service : Sluggish, but they were all always happy to help Additions : a recreational play area where you can play some indoor games. They also provide massage on request for a charge Location : Location is its USP, one might find it a little away from the center if not bringing your own vehicle, If you are choosing this place to stay you do not have to go anywhere else, but can spend good time within the premises itself Travel Desk : Information shared, they also have their vehicles which can give you a pick and drop to any place and can also arrange packages on a pre-booked basis.
