We have been going to Ramgarh Bunglow for last 30 years, mostly have stayed in Writers Bunglow. It was same this time too. We had booked both Bird and Butterfly rooms. As usual our experience was great. Out of 4 nights we were there, we had bonfire on 3 nights. Hospitality and food was excellent and views from the Bunglow were superb. Service as usual was great, Ram Singh cooked some sumptous food, Basant and Suresh offered great service!

We have been in awe of the Neemrana Ramgarh Bungalows for 8 years now. Location, food, Courtesy of staff and their welcoming attitude have been the driving factors for us. We travel a lot but we make it to Neemranas once a year .

A stay at The Ramgarh Bungalows is not just about the destination—it’s about the people who bring the place to life. Perched amidst the serene Kumaon hills, the property exudes an old-world charm that instantly slows you down. The colonial architecture, vintage décor, and tranquil surroundings make it feel like you’ve stepped into a gentler, more graceful time. The views of the orchards and mountains, especially during sunrise and sunset, are nothing short of therapeutic. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional hospitality. A heartfelt mention to Shailender (the Manager), whose warmth, attentiveness, and eye for detail ensured that every moment of our stay felt special and seamless. His personal involvement makes a world of difference and reflects in the overall experience. Sanjay Singh, Sandeep, and Krishna (the Chef) along with his entire kitchen team deserve immense appreciation. The food was comforting, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, with a homely touch that perfectly complemented the setting. Every meal felt curated with care rather than routine service. The housekeeping staff and the rest of the team also deserve equal credit for maintaining the property so beautifully and for their ever-smiling, ready-to-help attitude. Their quiet efficiency ensures that guests feel cared for without intrusion. This is not a place for those seeking ultra-modern luxury—but for anyone who values peace, heritage, personal attention, and genuine warmth, The Ramgarh Bungalows is truly special. It’s the kind of place where you arrive as a guest but leave feeling like you’ve been part of something personal. “Return to Neemrana's Ramgarh Bungalows”

I was back recently to Neemrana's Ramgarh Bungalows after about 6 yrs. Last time I visited was in Oct of 2019, before Covid. Well, Malla Ramgarh and specifically Neemrana's Ramgarh Bungalows maintain the same rustic, heritage vibe in the pristine natural hillscape. Last time, I had stayed at the Ashok Vatika, which unfortunately no longer has a contract with Neemrana. So, this time I stayed at the Cliff House which is very close to Ashok Vatika, at the same elevation. Its a good 500m uphill from the Old Bungalows. There are two rooms, named after famed Painters Gaitonde and Ram Kumar. I stayed in the room bearing Sri Ram Kumar's name. It's a nice heritage bungalow, with serene views of the lush hills all around. The peace is so touching. the long verandah facing the valley down is a lovely place to sit with a cup of coffee and stare beyond and feel the nature. The Sun travels from behind and sets in front of you, as you sit in the verandah towards the evening. The rooms remain well maintained and the staff ever so courteous and welcoming. The food at Neemrana has remained a delight. They create their dishes from local produce and create contemporary dishes as well as typical Kumaoni ones. The breakfast and lunch on the patio of the old Bungalow is a delight as is the food and the hospitality. I will make it a point to return to Ramgarh in future, during the fruit season to enjoy the produce of what is sometimes referred as a fruit basket of Uttarakhand.
