Lovely hotel with exceptional F&B staff . The food is great as in most Taj hotels , the rooms well appointed though o think the housekeeping can be stepped up at Rs31k a night . Lovely hotel with exceptional F&B staff . The food is great as in most Taj hotels , the rooms well appointed though o think the housekeeping can be stepped up at Rs31k a night . The gym needs major attention as do the gardens . There is a better way of making the gardens look like they were part of the forest without letting them look unkempt . Overall we had a wonderful and relaxed stay .

I recently stayed at Taj Corbett Resort & Spa and had a mixed experience despite the property’s beautiful setting and warm hospitality. The highlight of our stay was a special birthday celebration arranged by the housekeeping team—Jupoy and Deepak—who created a memorable evening with a beautifully set dug-out area, complete with music and lighting, which truly stood out. The property itself is vast with multiple lawns, offering plenty of space to relax, and the access to the Kosi riverbed along with the riverside lawn adds to the charm. Activities like nature walks, bird watching, and the evening aarti enhance the overall experience, and the live music near Jim’s Grill around 8 PM is definitely worth attending. The pool is decently sized with good changing facilities, and both breakfast and high tea had a good variety of options. However, there were several issues that affected the comfort of the stay—the AC was not functioning properly and did not maintain the desired temperature, making the night uncomfortable, and the bathroom taps dispensed only hot water from both sides, which was quite inconvenient. The absence of a kids’ activity room was surprising for a property of this scale, and the indoor pool room had a strong paint smell, making it unusable. Paid activities like soft archery were also disappointing. Another concern was the large number of monkeys roaming freely across the property, which requires constant caution, especially with kids. While the superior rooms are slightly more spacious and come with a bathtub compared to garden-view rooms, the overall experience felt inconsistent. Despite the scenic beauty, welcoming arrival, and some standout moments, the stay had a few operational shortcomings that prevented it from being truly exceptional.
