We 3 families went there with children. Before reviewing plz keep some points in mind 1. Dhanaulti isn't very big place. So you will not find luxurious hotels there. You will find lot of luxurious looking ( Keep in mind looking not actual) hotels online but most of are same.. I explored lot of hotels there most of them are very dingy, unhygienic, smelly and not suitable for families or safe for children. 2. Drive inn hotel isn't luxurious one but still much better than lot of hotels there. It is in mid of city but still not so noisy. Deluxe rooms or super deluxe rooms don't have much difference. Beds are large, neat and clean in deluxe rooms besides bed there is large backless sofa kind around windows where you can relax and enjoy outside weather. 3.Main issue is there washrooms they are very small and congested barely for single person. I will advise you to take your bath accessories like soap, shampoo etc. with yourself. They provide but not of very gud quality. 4. )There isn't any lift available but there is nice staff to take your luggage upstairs. 5. View from deluxe rooms is quite awesome. 6. We ordered 2-3 meals there. Food is gud reasonably priced. They will provide jain food also but options are very limited. I will suggest enjoy road side food like rajma chawal, bhutta, Maggie etc... you will relish those. 7.Take 1 light warm cloth for adults and and jacket for kids. We went there in june. Due to overnight rain weather is bit cold at night. no need of warm clothes in day 7. Dhanaulti is nt about hotels .. it is about its awesome weather.... Eco park.. go till top... you will be able to touch clouds or sit in clouds.... go to surkhanda devi temple... advise to take horse.... very steep and long distance... you can go for religious purpose or just to enjoy weather... just back of temple there is telephone tower. PLz go there you will get view of lifetime... you will take awesome memories with you. Rest I can answer your questions.....

“Staying amidst nature”

Dhanaulti is a quaint little town on the Chamba-Masourie highway. This is a sleepy town amidst nature, and much cooler than both Masourie and Chamba. This hotel is located right on the heart of the place just two blocks away the eco-park and surrounded by deodar and beautiful snow peaks. The rooms are small and basic, but better than the other places in that locality. Washrooms are just OK to use. Do not expect anything from the housekeeping team, they are not much helpful,my guess is that there is a short of manpower, and in the time of crowd they get helpless and confused. Charges are too high if the stay is on a long weekend or festival but otherwise, they can offer discount if you ask for. We stayed at the higher category room which had better view and an extra divan by the window. There is an eatery right in front of the hotel which sells awesome tandoori chicken and butter naan. They got a good and secured place for parking the car, overall the stay was pleasant amidst nature.

We were a group of six and had three deluxe rooms with us which were not great at all.The washroom is small so you feel all cramped. They don't have a centralized water heating system so each washroom has a geyser which in our case didn't work that well. Rooms are all shabby and the fabric on the furniture is all worn out. The bed sheets were all old and looked yellow instead of white. None of the rooms have a view. Food is OK. Buffet was not available when we stayed. In fact the local dhabas are far much a better option for food. Not that comfy a stay for all of us. Were supposed to stay two nights but check out after the first night.
