We had the most wonderful time, so much so, we've been home for under 24 hours and booked again. Kemang and Citra looked after us from the moment we arrived. The villa had everything we needed, complete with continuous burning mozzie coils so we hardly saw any. If you want to be in the middle of Sanur action, this isn't for you. It's away from the hustle and that's what we loved about it. We could retreat at the end of the day to the quiet. Plenty of room to spread out, pool was long enough for some short laps each day. I especially loved coming in each evening to the lights on, robes laid out. The rooms were clean, everything covered in cling film as much is in the outer area. The restaurant was great with great staff, in particular Siti who looked after us most mornings. The breakfast options were off a menu but enough so you could vary them. Dinner also plenty of options, with vegetarian as well. The salak margaritas were amazing! The spices are downplayed we suspect for tourists, but added spicy sambal helped. The afternoon tea was also great. My fav being the ginger tea and klepon. I seriously should have asked for the ginger tea recipe. Cooking class with Chef Jaya was a highlight. We loved the time spent cooking together and sharing different recipes. Drivers were also great, some of the tours are long drives so best check on asking. Both because of distance but also because of traffic. Budi was so considerate the entire time. Day spa was lovely, small and handy to the villa. If you looking time out in a quieter area, away from the beach but close enough to everything. This is perfect.

Perfect. Unsurpassed standard of hospitality. Am reluctant to write this review as I want to keep it a secret. The staff are so competent, responsive, kind and intuitive. The accomodation is luxurious. It is about a 10 min drive from the beac but there is a free shuttle service in highly comfortable cars with lovely drivers at any time you want. The spa was absolutely incredible with professional and skilled staff that know their craft. The food was lovely. Gong restaurant is right up there. It can be delivered to your villa or eaten at the highly rated restaurant.

Having stayed at all four of the Kayumanis locations in Bali over the past two years, I can confidently recommend any and all of the Kayumanis brand. The high quality of facilities, cleanliness, privacy, and the consistently professional and courteous service from the staff has made Kayumanis our go-to place to stay in Bali. This was our second time in Kayumanis Sanur. My wife and I were guests in April and had no hesitation in returning just two months later. Being on the west side of the bypass, Kayumanis does offer a more tranquil, residential vibe to a Sanur vacation than the busy beach side and we loved being able to walk and explore the neighbourhood at a leisurely pace. The nearby rural area with rice fields and crops (watermelon this time of year) was such a beautiful, peaceful stroll. It is, perhaps, an area of Sanur that many tourists are unaware of. Having said that, walking to the beach or Icon Mall is certainly possible - we did it simply because we enjoyed the walk. However, making use of the resort’s complimentary and personal shuttle service is obviously a more comfortable option. Wayan (Sepi), thank you so much for your expertise and knowledge (and humour) - we learnt so much from you about Bali during our drives with you and look forward to more chats in the future. The on-site restaurant - Gong - is such a delightful place. Romantic and intimate with a well thought out menu and dishes skilfully prepared and presented. Great selection of cocktails too! We had most of our evening meals there, never missed the afternoon tea, and enjoyed the most delicious breakfasts each morning. Actually, the Kayumanis French Toast for breakfast is a ‘must have’ no matter which Kayumanis location you choose. Niti, thank you so much for looking after us so well at meal times, it was lovely to see you again. In fact, a big thank you to all the restaurant staff - a highly efficient, professional and attentive team. Of course, a resort is ultimately defined by its people, and the whole team at Kayumanis Sanur once again exceeded our already high expectations. We were greeted warmly, our preferences remembered and, as always, there was an underlying background of genuine friendliness and eagerness to help without being intrusive. That balance of attentive yet discreet service is something Kayumanis consistently gets right. A special thank you to Udi for the personal attention we received throughout both of our stays. You welcomed us back home into the Kayumanis Sanur family like we were old friends. Thanks, Udi! The spa treatment was sublime. We enjoyed two couples' massages and both were exceptional - deeply relaxing and physically restorative. The therapists are incredibly skilled and know exactly what they’re doing. Highly recommend! Returning to Kayumanis Sanur for a second stay within such a short period only reinforced the excellence we’d already come to appreciate. It remains a peaceful sanctuary, offering exceptionally private villas, outstanding dining, and service that is both warm and genuinely heartfelt. We left already talking about our next visit and have no doubt we'll continue choosing Kayumanis whenever we return to Bali.
